PACT Charter School

Despite what many people believe, the school isn't bad. They just had a massive teacher switch, losing both good and bad teachers. The new teachers, however, are nice and friendly, and the teachers that stayed made the right choice. PACT has lots of pride and intelligence, and they received an award in a magazine for the school. Since it's a Charter school , it's somewhat small, but everyone knows each other and is nice. If a public high school isn't for you, go to PACT.

Most people who have posted on here are actual students who probably hate school. I am a student, I hate school, but I like it here at PACT. They are saying that the staff are strict. The school in my opinion is very safe and the reason they are so strict is because they want to keep you safe. So all you people giving one stars are most likely students.

Bad school. Really bad school. Seriously, if people and parents (who by the way, have never even spent a day in this school) recommend that you go here, read all the reviews on this site first. What problems do I have? The main reason is that they are so strict and they give too much authority to the staff. The teachers are such hypocrites! I once got chewed-out by a teacher for saying a specific word in a presentation--and it wasn't a swear word, or anything--and I got detention for it. But other students use the same word with this teacher in conversation, sometimes many times, and all the teacher does is laugh!!! Another time, I got in trouble for "providing the weapon for the crime". I inflated a plastic bag and my friend slammed his hand on the bag and it popped really loudly, but I was the one that got in trouble for it!!! And over half the secondary teachers left the school this year, some good, some bad. It's no wonder so many students leave each year. Thankfully, I only had to stay one year in this school. Moral of the story, research before you send your kids here. If you like a small school with strict rules (which you can think of as good) then send your kids if you want. But listen to other people. Pact, please for once listen to the students who go here. Make it better for future students.

I finally switched to a Public school from here and needless to say, it was the greatest thing ive ever done. The teachers at my new school are down to earth and dont try to cram the discipline part of school so far down your throat as they like making school a fun and safe enviroment. Also the bigger class sizes at my new school is terrific. This school on the other hand, lacks the key things needed to be a good school and teach the students that go there. Theres a reason they had to EMAIL THE PARENTS that had kids going there to ask their friends and family that went to other schools to try to switch their children here.

its not the worst school, and the lunches arent that bad this year. and if you guys think the teacher are bad then you should meet Mr. Thomson then youll change your mind.
