We loved this restaurant, great food with a comfortable atmosphere. Our server was attentive. Food delicious, I had their ravioli and it was perfect, flavours spot on and cooked to perfection. My husband had the chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti, everything was superb. Good selection of beer. Prices reasonable for portion size.
If you only order pasta dishes, this is a VERY quick stop for very delicious high end food. This place has its own bread bar with different types of breads and butters for them that you get to toast up to your liking which was quite fun. You can definitely tell that they make their own noodles in house as the pasta arrives very quickly once ordered. The bread bar was interesting and it took us exactly as long to toast our bread as it took the pastas to be ready once we ordered. All of the food and drinks were marvelously delicious. Soft and tender raviolis and the sauce was divine. I had ordered the fries as a starter, I will skip that next time. They were tasty, but not worth filling up on with the pasta being so delightful.
Honestly I was disappointed about this restaurant, we ordered medium rare steak, spaghetti and risotto. then we got the well done steak instead, also the spaghetti taste so plain, had to add in hot sauce. The waitress later on offered us free steak or dessert as compensation, we were starving so asked for another steak. However, the setting was really nice, with the view and everything, peaceful and spacious. high raised celling also give you a luxurious vibe. I would give toasted bread a five star, you just got spread the garlic butter or other sauce and then let it rest, and it's free.
Great atmosphere, solid portions and good food. The liquor selection was minimal, so I didn't bother having a whiskey with dinner. You are able to go toast your own bread with butter, 4 choices of each! Cool experience doing that.
Conveniently located in our hotel Moose Hotel and Suites. Decent price for Banff. Delicious food, we had dinner 1 night and breakfast another day. Ravioli was so so good and Eggs Benedict was perfect. Very friendly professional service. Definitely recommend to eat here.
Reserved for 6:30am breakfast just in case there were many tourist trying to eat and catch the tour bus at the same time. We were the first table there and not busy at all. 2 less stars based on the indifferent and rude server we had Pamela. -1 star for ignoring us and took orders from 2 other tables around us.. we had to wave her down to catch her attention, when I jokingly said.. I thought you forgot us.. she never apologized and was quite rude with her reply.. If you want toast, which is included, you have to grill your own at the open BBQ in the middle of the dining room, I am guessing it’s a gimmick to differentiate? -1 star for Pamela our server not alerting us our plates were super hot.. we overheard her tell the next table after she plopped our meals down.. we almost burned our hands. Food was ok for breakfast. Price was reasonable for a resort town.
Excellent service and terrific food. I sat outside at a table with some shade. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom and it paired well with their mushroom/truffle oil pizza. I added a delicious Cesar salad and a glass of red wine to make a fine meal. They have a self serve bread bar where you toast the bread on a large stovetop and then there are several herbed butter selections. The herbed butter was great on the pizza crust as well. I had a great meal here and enjoyed ambiance. Definitely a 5 star restaurant!
Fantastic restaurant to dine in in Banff. The bread bar was amazing! You can get all the bread you want, and toast it so you can make your own garlic bread. The pasta is nice. We ordered 3 items, carbonara, Alfredo and pesto. The carbonara is the best, the taste, the pasta excellent. The Alfredo is in the middle too creamy for my taste and the taste doesn't pop out. And lastly the pesto was okay, the pasta is good but the pesto doesn't taste really well. The vibe is excellent. Combination of both dine and lounge
The lasagna special was really good but small. The prosciutto & arugula pizza was really good. Tried the Wraspberry ale and it was definitely a fun drink. The bread bar is fun, but doesn't make up for the portion size of the lasagna. It's priced on par with Banff restaurants. The parmesan fries were good but not great and a small portion
Had the soup and salad lunch special with the bread bar. The soup was cold, sent it back and the 2nd time was only slightly warmer. I hesitate to send something back again so ate what I could and enjoyed my salad and garlic bread which were both very good. The server was very helpful and gave discount for soup.Food: 3/5
