Pâtisserie Jeannie

We got a variety of cakes and croissants to try and they all taste so great and really inexpensive in compared to the quality. The owner/baker Jeannie is super nice and friendly. She even offered cookies to my 3 kids. We will definitely come back to this place when we visit QC again!

While visiting the city, I wanted to try some local specialties. There were two ladies working in this store and had the pleasure to chat with the one who spoke English unfortunately I don't speak French: she was friendly and funny. I asked her to suggest me something to try. For some reason she was keeping asking me if I was going to sleep at 9pm Not sure if it was a local joke or something... Anyway I ended up getting three small samples: a mini butter croissant , a mini chocolate croissant and an almond pastry stuffed with chocolate. They were all delicious but the almond one was fantastic. When it was the time to pay, she said again: "Don't forget to go to sleep at 9!"

Not a whole lot of pre-made available... but what we got was soooooo good!! Try to ferero cake or the crispy crust fruit pie... omg!!
