The food tastes delicious I ordered the Basil & Chili Lamb and Burmese fried rice. I love the lamb, it doesn't smell anything, the meat is so tender and juicy and tastes so good, spicy, salty, and a bit sweet. The fried rice, for me, tastes a bit bland but when you eat it together with the lamb it makes a perfect combination. The service and ambiance are also very good. The server knows about the food very well and can give you a recommendation when you don’t know what to order.

We came here for Summerlicious. The food we got was all delicious. They also have an extensive assortment of teas available. The only issue was that the rice that came with the lamb curry was cold but the staff quickly replaced it for us. The various dishes were well seasoned and flavourful. I would be interested in coming back to try their regular menu.

Honestly, food just looks good than it tastes. I was excited to try Burmese cuisine for the first time, but I was disappointed by the food The menu had a variety of dishes, such as curries, salads, rice and noodles but most of them lacked flavor and freshness. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Burmese cuisine. Overall a little overpriced for the portions. Giving 2 points for their ambience and staff.

This was my first time trying Burmese cuisine and Popa did not disappoint! We tried the tea leaf salad, vegetarian khowsuey, Rangoon chicken curry and Burmese fried rice - all of them were really different tasting but equally flavourful. My favourites were the tea leaf salad and the Rangoon chicken curry. Even the white coconut rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy. The service was also really friendly and attentive - our server was really helpful and patient with explaining the menu and making recommendations. The ambience and decor were also really nice - it's a good place to sit down and eat or to take guests while still casual. Will definitely come back!

It was our first time visiting Burmese restaurant. Great service and delicious food. They have variety of tea selections and great presentation. Had garlic noodles with chicken and it came with really big portion. The unicorn tea was pretty surprising and fun to enjoy.

Popa Burmese Restaurant Bayview Village provided an enjoyable and delectable dining experience! The food was freshly prepared and the presentation was with care. I tried a couple dishes and can truly say that the quality did not disappoint. Along with the food being of high quality, the service staff were extremely well mannered and catered to the needs of the patrons. From the starters, the main courses, to dessert/coffee or tea... this restaurant prides itself on providing exceptionally tasting dishes, polite staff and an relaxing ambience to which one can enjoy an afternoon or evening of fine cuisine. Five stars!! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Parking: Free parking at the Bayview Village Mall. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on one floor. You don't have to go up or down stairs to access washrooms. Very accessible! Dietary restrictions: They can tailor dishes to your requirements.

Had dinner with colleagues last night. The restaurant is in the mall , google/Apple Maps can be a bit confusing. The wait staff recommended a few dishes, and we shared all plates. I have a nut allergy and they were very accommodating. I don’t think the shrimp appetizer was good , but the the calamari and baos were great! The tea leaf rice was good , but I wish there was a bit more flavour ?? The curries were great though , I really enjoyed those.

This is was my first time trying Burmese food, and I'm not sure how authentic this place was, but I personally felt the food was underwhelming. I wish the chicken curry was more flavorful, and I was surprised that the rice/noodle sides were cold. The semolina cake was alright, it was a bit dense. However, the tea salad and the calamari was good.

Delicious food. Beautiful ambiance. Pleasant service. Value for money! To our delight we found a good amount of interesting vegetarian options in all categories of the menu. You can trust the staff to make recommendations. Definitely going back for more.

Great service and delicious food. Beautiful presentation. Garlic noodles with chicken just the right amount of sweet heat! The jasmine rice was so fragrant and fluffy. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
