I saw multiple bad reviews only few days ago. Hope this one will not be removed as well. Here is a summary of my experience: 1. I was required to provide my credit card number "for security purposes only" and then they pulled money from this card without telling me, even before finalizing the schedule! 2. They "forgot" to mention the assessment price of $225 when we spoke about the prices initially. After having the assessment done they had a difficulty to tell what exactly should be improved in math. 3. Instead of private lessons I asked for, there were few groups of students sitting in the same room and one teacher circulating between them. 4. The teachers ignored child's comments about the stuff being too easy and asked not to jump forward. Only after I talked to them (and few weeks of lessons were wasted) they agreed to go forward and changed the math book, but the other one was not helpful as well. I was hoping to give my daughter a boost in math during summer, but didn't see any progress. The bottom line: service doesn't worth the price. I spent more than $1000 in less than 2 month and got not an improvement, but some refreshment.

Our son struggled through elementary school. He found it difficult to organise his work and his study habits generally were poor despite our efforts at home to help him, so we engaged Oxford when he entered high school. The staff and tutors at Oxford Learning Kanata turned our son's academic career around. He started doing better within a very short time and eventually became an A student. Today he's on the Dean's list at Carleton University in Computer Science no less, and has held onto an academic scholarship into 4th year. Seeing our son's success, it was not a surprise that our daughter asked if she could also go to Oxford for help. She was already a good student; working with Oxford Kanata propelled her to the top of her class and a top academic scholarship at the University of Guelph. If your child needs help with organisation, fundamentals or even getting that final 5% needed for top honours, Oxford Learning Kanata is the place to go.

It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know the staff at Oxford Learning Kanata these past two years. They truly make learning fun for the kids. Katie and Natalie are forthcoming, caring and provide progress updates frequently. Our eldest really struggled with reading. Within just months Oxford Learning turned her into an avid reader, a new skill that also immensely boosted her confidence. Our other daughter just started as well and is already showing great results after just a few sessions. She’s all smiles and just loves going there! Thumbs up for the team at Oxford Learning Kanata!

I would like to take this time to tell everyone thinking of putting their kid in Oxford Learning Kanata. Katie and Natalie are the 2 most beautiful and professional people you would want to meet. They are the best in the business they care for each and every child as well as the process. Watching my daughter learn under there supervision is amazing. I could not be more happier with choosing Oxford Learning Kanata. Also the staff that works with my daughter is amazing she comes home every time expressing what a great place it is. Oxford Learning Centre is a wonderful place for children to feel engaged and positive about academics. Our twins started out in The Little Readers program at age 3 with Ms. Linda, a woman who has the gift to inspire young children. She was so instrumental in their lives that they never saw attending the centre as torture but as pure fun. The boys have since graduated from The Little Readers program and have continued attending on a weekly basis and focus on mathematics and English. As I have told the wonderful coordinators, Natalie and Katie, the boys will be attending for a long time to come...well into their high school years!!!!!. The beautiful thing about this centre is that they truly care about your children's success and are passionate about learning and teaching. I am known to advertise their services to all my family and friends, frankly perfect strangers too as I am so happy with the continued progress reports and success that my children have achieved because of this centre. I am happy say that those who have enrolled their children because of my advice have experienced a lot of success as well. Bravo!!!
