My call was through CAA. CAA estimated I would have to wait 2 hours, I got a call less then 10min he showed up quick. Was very polite. I had a day from hell and by the time I reached my house he had a smile on my face, made my day. Excellent service!!

Owen Sound Towing & Service responded to a call for service that I placed with CAA. They arrived in about 40 minutes and did a great job of pulling my friend's car out of a field. The driver was very obliging and courteous. Unfortunately there was some bumper skirt damage due to ice crust on top of the snow. This company was absolutely fantastic about standing behind their work and did not hesitate to make things right. They have been a pleasure to deal with!!!

MANAGER IS A COMPLETE JOKE. I HAD TO PUSH MY OWN CAR OUT OF THE DITCH AND STILL GOT CHARGED $130. Had a couple tires stuck in the mud so I called these guys to get winched out. Driver showed up with a massive truck (overkill) then said that he "did not want to get his truck stuck" and said he was happy to give me a hand pushing it out. I told him that I called the tow truck for a reason- that I wanted to get out ASAP and get back home after a long weekend camping in the rain but he insisted that he would not help with his truck.... After rocking the car back and forth we finally got it out at which time the driver demanded full payment of the quoted price. I called the manager to negotiate (I thought this was reasonable as I didn't get towed anywhere or winched out with the equipment but instead he literally gave us an extra hand pushing. The owner/manager was completely unwilling to negotiate and even hung up on me. I called him back and he ignored my calls. At the end of the day I don't care about the $130, but out of principal I would never call these guys again or recommend them to anyone. Read another review and it seems like I'm not the only one this happened to. Don't call these guys unless you're prepared to do your own heavy lifting.

Got vehicle stuck on a side road up past Owen Sound. Called to see about getting pulled out, driver was very nice but said he would not back his truck down the road but would help give us a push. In the process of pushing the car we ripped the front bumper off of the vehicle (the reason we called a tow truck in the first place was to avoid damaging the car). Tried to call management to negotiate price since at no point did they tow our vehicle and we now have to fix our bumper. Spoke to the owner who was not only extremely rude on the phone but also hung up on us and then would not answer our calls. Was the hands down most unprofessional thing I have seen in years. My advice to anyone in the Owen sound area is invest in CAA. I would rather sleep in my car than call back Owen sound towing ever again. Zero stars if it were possible
