Our first time at the Overture center was to see Pretty Woman. I went online to check out the setup and from other people's experiences it looked like a top notch facility. It was very well organized and the staff were extremely friendly. I appreciated the Overture Center not requiring masks or vax status paperwork. The Plandemic is long over and it's refreshing to see a Dane County business not get sucked into the joke of a CDC recommendation. The performance itself was top notch. We'd definitely attend again and are already looking for the next show.
What a beautiful venue and to be honest not a bad seat in the house! This was our 2nd time seeing Brit Floyd here and just an amazing experience. Great parking nearby, great choice of restaurants, and easy to get to.
Helpful, professional Overature staff saw to every detail at the Saturday evening event I attended. The musical entertainment provided by Greg and Evelyn was outstanding! It was a fantastic night out!
This was my first time here and it was wonderful! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We had upper Orchestra seating and they where perfect. The only complaint i would have is the temperature- it was way to warm
This place is so much fun to visit. I highly recommend that you visit their site and get tickets for a show. This venue allows no carry ins, but they do offer beverages and snacks inside, including alcoholic options. Enjoy!
Theater was absolutely lovely and I went to go see Hamilton! I'm a Hamilton fan, and this performance exceeded expectations. All the staff were dressed nicely and professionally, and helped everyone who needed help. I would absolutely love to come back and see another performance at the Overture Center!
The venue is beautiful to look at. There's a round dome you can look up and see the sky. Once you've found your seat, things get a little tight. It's packed tighter than an airplane. Your shins are almost guaranteed to touch the seat in front of you. I wish they would have added another 3 inches of space. Otherwise, the sound was clear from every angle which is difficult to achieve. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were all friendly. I'd go back again.
First time visit to see Hamilton! We were in what most people would call the nosebleed seats but I loved our seats and we were able to see everything going on stage. Beautiful building, though if you're a first-time visitor it's a bit confusing on where you need to go.
Everything gorgeous about this space. It's a masterpiece and the things that happen there are amazing. I wish everyone could experience at least a play in their lifetime there. There is always a lesson to be learned and shared through the arts. Built to last. True beauty forever.
Beautiful theater. Saw a broadway musical. Sat on the floor mid back and could see very well. The seats were pricey but we had a great time. The balcony seats are more affordable if you need. It looks like there isn’t a bad seat in the place. Easy to find, helpful staff. Good sound system.
