Otto's Berlin Döner

Enjoyed lunch here with some colleagues which was recommended by them. Ordered the small veal and lamb teller box with half fried, half salad and all the sauce! The fries are perfectly thin and crispy which soaks up all the sauce, salad gives it a nice healthy crunch and the meat was perfectly seasoned and super flavourful! Portion size was perfect and the staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Such a great gem in Kensington!

This is a cool little spot in Kensington market with a really tasty doner sandwich. Service was quick and great, the little front patio is nice and the food was tasty. That said, I have no idea how you're supposed to eat these "sandwiches" and I got toppings all over myself, so make sure to ask for extra napkins, as you're going to be having a doner shower if you're not meticulous. Next time I'll bring a bib.

One of my FAVOURITE places in Kensington! Delicious, fresh, full flavoured and authentic doners that are very well priced. Drinks were great as well. Dog friendly as well thanks for providing a cup of water for our pup on the patio as well. Highly recommend.

The first time I try Doner so not sure how authentic or close the taste is, but a good try! The bread base for Doner was special, kinda crispy. Veal&lamb Doner Teller comes with salad base, with yogurt and garlic, pretty fresh and yummy. The pork Currywurst and fries were both good. Dining environment was cool, clean, and comfortable. Options for beer and cider could be more though.

I love this place Authentic Berlin style donër on bread or your choice of fries or salad. They also have Currywurst! If you love a good German street food experience in Toronto, this is the place to be. Also still very reasonably priced for the large portion

I just love this place. The portions are huge and the food is SO delicious and flavourful! A favourite spot I just can’t stop coming back to when I’m in Kensington.

Bigger than expected. Hands messier than expected. But great meal. I don’t have a lot of experience with doner but I understand why everyone was eating from a box. The flavours were incredible tho. I added fries and feta, it was $17.50 after tax. Loved it.

Really good food. I enjoyed the doner and liked that they added a lot of toppings/sauces. I had the chicken and the meat was a bit dry but overall I would come back. Otto’s fries were also good.

Not the exact same thing as döner in Berlin, but the closest thing you'll get to it in Toronto, and all in all, pretty good! Take all the sauces and don't skip the Paulaner. P.S.Very funny they feature the Berghain as one of the Berlin landmarks on the walls LOL.

Very pretty ambience.Neat and tidy spot for Doner and wurst. One of my favourite places in Kensington market to sit down and have brunch with my friends Food: 5/5
