Amazing place. Played vball there, and this has to be one of the coolest places in the city. Staff is about as friendly as it gets. Not overpriced and very laid back. We go there to just hang out now.
My friend who is a member of the Ottawa Tennis & Bowling Club took me on a circuitous bike ride to end up at the club for refreshments. Apparently the non tennis facilities are open to the public. It is near a bike path and therefore a great refreshment and bathroom rest spot.
Beautiful venue, great customer service. Came in, were greeted by all staff as I walked around. Nice little cantina by the sand courts and great choices.nnWould definetely recommend.
We attended a wedding here. Venue was great, convenient and staff was very helpful. The food, from an outside restaurant was spectacular. The servers were amazing. Highly recommend!
****WEDDING REVIEW ONLY****nExtremely glad we chose the Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club as the venue for our wedding. Price was very reasonable for the venue; it has such a nice cottage type feel to it and was just so relaxed. We had the ceremony down on the lawn, followed by the reception upstairs in the hall.nnClaire, the event and customer service manager, was lovely and helped us with anything we needed lawn set up, hall layout, general logistics, etc..nnAdrian, the owner of the Cameron bar/restaurant upstairs handled the bar side of things and was a beauty to work with. He was very accommodating and we were able to work out a great deal on the wine we wanted as well as the plan for drinks for the evening open bar for two hours followed by a toonie bar for the rest of the night.nnThe Urban Element handles the catering and it was some of the best food we've had, wedding or otherwise. While they have a set menu, we were able to request whatever we wanted which was awesome went for an Italian buffet with late-night poutine, fantastic.nnWe would strongly recommend the club to anyone for a wedding.
