Oshawa Mosque

This is the second time I visited the Oshawa Mosque . It was very quiet and peaceful, and I felt a different kind of calm there. The mosque is not very big, but it is clean and well maintained. If I visit Oshawa again, I would definitely stop by here again.

I had a wonderful experience at the Islamic Centre of Oshawa. The mosque is very clean, peaceful, and welcoming. The community is friendly and supportive, and the environment makes it easy to focus on prayer and reflection. The imam and volunteers do a great job serving the community and organizing programs. I highly recommend this masjid to anyone looking for a beautiful place to pray and connect with others.

I LOVE this place. It’s so peaceful, even though it’s located in south Oshawa. The mosque is always neat and the people there are nice at least they don’t discriminate. May Ya Allah bless the people in charge.nnOne thing though, the mosque is always locked most of the times. I’d suggest that you keep the mosque open at a particular time even all the time. People should feel comfortable to go in and have somewhere to stay especially now that it’s really cold.nnFurthermore, there are so many activities in the mosque. There’s summer camp, which by the way was very amazing. There’s lectures, EID celebration and so on.nnI would highly recommend this Mosque to anyone looking for a mosque to go to.

There aren't a lot of mosques in Oshawa but this is the closest mosque I could find in Lakeview. I have been attending Jummah prayer here for a few years now and I really love the atmosphere. The owners take great care of this mosque and keeps it very clean and organized. Sometimes parking can be a challenge but you need to arrive early so you can find a spot. They also have multiple Jummahs so that helps a lot of people to come in on a later time. The 2nd and 3rd Jummahs tend to have way less people, so there's less issues with parking if you come for those prayers. I really admire the owners. They are very honest and hard working. They are also very transparent about the maintenance and repair needs for the upkeeping of the mosque. They also host other mosque committees from time to time for new mosque building fundraisers. I'm grateful to have this place of worship near me. I pray the owners have good health for years to come as they are doing a wonderful job in serving the community at Oshawa.

Peaceful place for prayers, specially Friday prayer. Imam is knowledgeable, polite and selects topics that's suits ppl. One thing ive noticed that Bayan he do in English and then he repeats the same in English which in my opinion, not required as many are not familiar with Arabic language. More time can be used in English خطبہ which is more beneficial for ppl.nJazak Allah
