Oshawa Mosque

We stopped at the Oshawa mosque while travelling from Toronto to Montreal, intending to pray, use the washrooms and rest briefly. We left deeply impressed by how clean, spacious and thoughtfully designed the mosque is.nnThe men’s prayer hall is large and welcoming, with exceptionally clean washrooms and well-maintained ablution facilities. My wife was especially impressed by the women’s section. Rather than being tucked away in an inconvenient corner, as is unfortunately common in many mosques: the women had a comfortable prayer space upstairs with a clear view of the imam.nnEven the smallest details reflected genuine care: spotless washrooms, excellent and dry wudu facilities, sandals in different sizes and motion-sensor lighting. Everything a visitor might need had been thoughtfully provided.nnA beautiful, welcoming masjid that serves both its congregation and travellers wonderfully. May Allah reward everyone who maintains it.

This is the second time I visited the Oshawa Mosque . It was very quiet and peaceful, and I felt a different kind of calm there. The mosque is not very big, but it is clean and well maintained. If I visit Oshawa again, I would definitely stop by here again.

Very organized and well maintained Masjid. Restrooms are clean with slippers available. The place is big and can hold a good number or attendees. There is a side room that can be reserved for some special events, and I suspect its usually used as women praying section. Parking is good but may not be enough during certain prayers. May Allah bless those looking after this Masjid.
