Love this place, nice staff, great food hot and cold, doesn’t have everything, so it cant be your main grocery, but what it has, is good price. Like do go in there to buy cereal, very few selection, go in the to get some fresh noodles and some fresh crabs. The sauce selection is also great. The most annoying part is the shopping carts that needs a dollar. It’s 2024 and its west van, come on , who has coins these days.
I am writing to express a concern regarding one of the staff members at your Park Royal location. I am a frequent visitor to the mall and have shopped at Osaka many times, but unfortunately, my experience at your store has become increasingly uncomfortable.nnThere is an older Asian gentleman, who I believe is part of your security team, who consistently follows me throughout the store. I’ve noticed this pattern during multiple visits—his gaze is persistent, and he appears to shadow me down every aisle. This behavior has made me feel extremely uneasy and unwelcome, to the point where I’ve begun avoiding the store altogether.nnWhat’s more concerning is that several of my female friends have reported experiencing similar interactions, which leads me to believe this may not be an isolated incident. We are in our 40s and he seems to back off when we are with our husbands.nnI understand the importance of maintaining store security, but I respectfully ask that this matter be looked into. All customers deserve to feel safe and comfortable while shopping.
I shopped at Osaka West Vancouver @ 2pm today and I am not happy with the service on meat section. I ask them if they can help me to cut the meat for stew. And they told me it’s against their policy to cut it. Not good in customer service at all. I shop with other T & T and they were very helpful except on this branch. I am very disappointed. They should improve their service for customer satisfaction.
I remember this location opening back in 2010 ish? Previously there wasn’t too many Asian grocery stores and we would frequent Chinatown, cross the lions gate or iron memorial second narrows. It’s nice to have this location here on the North Shore. I don’t live on the North Shore any more. I’ve moved closer to work and I don’t miss rush hour on those bridges LOL. But I do come back from time to time to visit friends and re live some nostalgic vibes from being born and raised there.nnPrices seem a touch higher at this location on certain items. I’ve always had positive experiences so far with the ingredients and live seafood. But service is a hit or miss.nJust do what I do. If you’re not happy with the way they prepare or bag your live seafood, just make the drive to Metrotown instead. It’s not like we as a customer are loosing out. 1 star loss for the workers with egos.nnHere are just a few pictures of what I made at home. Don’t be afraid to explore and learn off YouTube.
I buy groceries here often and the quality is better than other TnTs usually, but I came across this gross moldy fruit this morning. Always make sure you carefully check the stuff you buy I guess
