What a great market that doesn't overstock their fridges with Bento boxes that who knows how long they've been there for. You can even ask for things on the fly. Prices do reflect the freshness and uniqueness of what they have to offer some items you may never see in restaurants The freshest I've seen without going to a more expensive restaurant. Great to buy and enjoy at Ambleside beach in the summers too.
Nice tasting sushi rolls to go but damn, are they skimpy! I realize it is blue fin tuna and Wagyu but they are cut so damn thin, it's invisible. Pricey, tasty, skimpy. No bang for your buck. Even the onigiri had next to nothing in it. They were a little chintzey on the napkins.

I bought a box of bento which was $25, they had tempura, sushi and chicken karaage and other stuff, very fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the meal, they had three small tables in the corner of the shop, we found a table which was a plus. The people are friendly and helpful! Would love to come back again.
