Orange Hippo

The steak was kind of tough. Maybe more raw would have been better. We went for “a point”, which was less red than indicated on the picture. The fries that came with the steak was a bit soggy. I personally didn’t like that. The mushroom? sauce on the side was good. Salt and pepper are served if asked. This restaurant seems to be one of the only restaurants that are open before 7 PM. It seems more like a fast food restaurant; it had a very casual vibe. It was not busy at all. It was very cold inside. The staff was friendly.

The food was below of expected, I order a plate with 300gr, I was expecting a big steak, I received a stick with a few cubes of meat. The taste was good. My wife didn’t like her food. We order a started that didn’t came, then the food arrived and I asked about the starter. The waiter was not good at all about the service.

With the exception of the gentleman who showed us to our table and the lady working behind the bar I found the staff incredibly rude, the restaurant wasn't busy but we still had to wait around 15 minutes for our drinks, the staff seemed to prefer to stand about chatting to each other rather than do their job, the food was below average, main course bland and just warm, having spent 6 days in Paris and eaten at some lovely restaurants I have to say this was the worst place we visited, certainly on of the top 5 restaurants I have ever visited, definitely would not recommend or visit again

Food was good but service was below standard. We ordered menu with dessert but the waiter brought no dessert. Then we have to ask again. Also the waiter with tattoos was quite rude. He didn't listen to our order, having ciggerates and fun. The other waiter has to come and fill the order. 3 stars that's for food but 1 star for service.

Good restaurant, Goodyear dishes.

Not good experience. Although the staff was very friendly, they were very slow, we waited more than 20 min to order. We ordered a burger with mushrooms, it came with onions. The meat was very chewy. Unfortunately overall bad price-quality ratio.

The food was great, we loved our parmesan cheese appetizer. The tenderloin steak and boeuf marine were simply amazing! And also served quite quickly. As dessert we shared a nice strawberry cheesecake sorbet. Overall a lovely experience and made us leave quite full. I definitely recommend it.

A hippo place! Perfect for hippo fans who want to enjoy a good steak at a reasonable price. The garnitures and sauces for the meat are à volonté. Good view of Bastille as well and plenty of hippo portraits.

Really quick service; not even 15 minutes from ordering to it being served. Food was cooked well and how I asked but my steak was a little bland - could have done with a little extra seasoning. The profiterole dessert was massive and really good - will have that again!
