Did a great job on my car. Brought in for some minor work when someone sideswiped me. Repairs were done well and I picked up my car washed and cleaned. Terrific! The only knock was that it took 2.5 weeks! Had a loaner car the whole time but it still took 2 weeks longer than expected. Other than that, the experience was solid.
I was devastated when someone broke into my new car to take some money on a Saturday evening and on Sunday most places are actually closed so there's was not much I can do. I had sent an inquiry about my Audi RS5 to open road auto body and Megan was awesome enough to reply even though she was away/off work. She booked my in for an appointment on Monday and they began assessing the problem and the Hertz guys also very awesome got me into a rental car. Kyle was my adjuster and he was fantastic, Ramon the manager was out of this world as well. It took about 2.5 weeks to get the job done but I was beyond happy. They did such a good job noticing all the damages and replacing it/fixing it thoroughly. Often you see business go 90% and then they just say "meh" it'll be fine but these guys were the opposite. 100% was the minimum and 110% was acceptable. I would never go anywhere else but here for my needs. Thanks Megan and the team you guys have done the impossible and redefined the auto experience.
Took my car in for a minor scratch repair and when i got it back, they just painted over a chip and had to take it back for another try at this minor fix. On the second try, it was a successful repair but only to find out someone at the shop had gone through my vehicle and took items out. I know you are told to not leave valuables it wasnt even that valuable in the car but that still doesn't give the employees freedom to take items, there should be a basic level of trust when doing business. Fantastic service. Great communication and information leading up to a windshield replacement. They had an OEM windshield ordered, in stock, and then installed/calibrated within a week of the damage occurring. I just showed up on the day of the install, dropped the keys off, and they dealt with all the insurance paperwork. There's a Hertz car rental inside the building as well, so I was able to leave the lot in a brand new loaner car for the day paid for by insurance while my windshield was being replaced. Mid-afternoon when I picked up my car the new windshield was in, the rear view mirror was just as I left it, as was the Dashcam, and they even put back my parking pass sticker and service sticker - It was as if the windshield crack never even happened. Above all this, the exterior of my car was washed and the interior cleaned upon pickup! They truly gave me back the car in better condition than when I dropped it off. I was super pleased with the service at Richmond Autobody and would highly recommend!Service: Auto glass repair
I received a call on Jan 23 indicating that my car is ready for pick up after it was damaged from a rear-ended collision on Dec 7. I informed the receptionist that I would come in on Jan 24. When I arrived on Jan 24 around 16:30, i was asked to sign a document to release my car. The estimator came and walked me to my car and explained to me what was fixed and repaired. He walked me to my car and showed the replaced rear bumper but he did not mention any back ordered parts. He handed me the keys and said i could return the rental vehicle. And he left. When I drove my car to the front entrance and was about to move my personal items from the rental car to my car, I noticed that the rear left wheel molding was missing. I immediately went back and talked to the estimator, he then said it was on back order. HOW CAN SUCH A MAJOR PIECE NOT MENTIONED TO ME, UNTIL I DISCOVERED THAT MYSELF? The general manager then came and said the same thing. UNLESS I ASKED FURTHER, I WOULD NOT KNOW ONE THE TWO LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS IS ALSO BACK ORDERED. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS? The store manager did agree that the repair is not fully complete.Services: Auto body & trim replacement
I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. The reception staff doesn't know how to handle customers. They don't pass on any information. They just say something and hang up the phone. I gave my car to the shop for repair, and they specifically said 4-5 working days for repair. They took over two weeks without giving any updates. I tried to contact them many times, and they were very unprofessional. I had to cancel my work and stay home, waiting for their call to pick up the car, but nobody called. The next day, when I called, they told me the same unclear stuff, saying that your car would be ready by today, but they gave no time or specific explanations. We rented a car from them and paid a huge amount for the private insurance, thinking it was for 4 or 5 days. Now that we had to pay a lot of money just because they were not able to give any updates on the repair time, They are just making money by renting cars and stuff. No customer service at all. I requested to talk with the manager, and they put me on hold for a long time. I had to disconnect and get back to work.
I called today to see if they can fix my car. The girl on the phone called Kelly was very rude to me and refused to transfer me to the manager. She hang up on me instead!!! People like that should not be office receptionists - so unprofessional! If the manager of his auto body sees this, I hope you get in touch with me and have a good talk with your employee. What a terrible service from a get go. Actor, thank you for picking up the phone and willing to listen and help me out. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!
I have been a customer for a long time. The repairs as always were excellent however the can do attitude has changed it s a different vibe now. There was an incident with the treatment of my car and sadly I needed to compromise 50 50 to get the needed job done after much heated debate. No one needed to take responsibility just find a quick conciliatory way to get the job done. I know that is the intention of the senior management it just needs to permeate the company in a better way.
Perfect dent repair work. Time of repair, however, was unacceptably long. Also, the reassembly work could be improved. Regarding the reassembly, I noticed that the windshield and rear view mirror were not properly installed as I was told by my dealership maintenance checkup. Moreover, rear doors were not perfectly aligned with front doors.Service: General repairs & maintenance
