The technicians that work at Opal Spa are super sweet and always provide good service. I mostly go in to buy nail polish or something simple, but I decided to go in for laser not too long ago. Unlike other laser hair removal experiences, I did not feel the pain that normally comes with a dauntingly large machine made to burn off your hair follicles . The technology they used had a crystal on the head of the laser handle and assumingly prevents heat from penetrating your skin; or perhaps the crystal's cooling effect numbed my skin. Either way, it was the first time where I didn't want to squirm in pain. The procedure is a bit more expensive then other places. However, the location is clean, properly certified and always professional This is important when one is considering the part of their body being lasered ; . All in all, I would recommend Opal in the Westwood plaza. Its easy to find, free parking, and has a starbucks beside it for some caffeine comfort.
I went into Opal for a pedicure and I will say I enjoyed the job. Yes, its a bit more expensive then the average coquitlam nail place, but it offers more "higher end" service. I guess that's what I wanted. However, when I went in for other services like laser hair removal or waxing that's when I saw the difference. They did a phenomenal job and my hair is still gone after the laser removal. The machine they use is by far better than other hair removal places. Big thumbs up for that!
First time at Opal Spa and totally loved it! Was warmly welcomed by staff and Diane gave me the best full body aromatic massage ever. Totally helped me relax and unwind. Perfect start to my Valentines Day! Thank you Opal Spa! Will definitely come back!
This spa is my little hidden gem. I have not found something comparable nor as clean and professional. Attention to deal, professionalism, awesome nice staff and relaxing environment...what more can a spa person want. If you are looking for quality and perfection this is where i say you need to go. Kudos' to you all at Opal Spa.
I love Opal Spa, true spa feeling in comfy, cozy, intimate setting! Professional service and very clean unlike most revolving door places you find these days. Highly recommend Leslie and the RMT.
I recently come to Opal Spa for the "Mind body and spirit" package. I had Sam as my esthetician. The entire experience was so wonderful. Sam was professional, attentive and very good at what she does. My favorite part was the Beaute Neuve facial. It was so luxurious and you could tell the products used were high quality and they did not cause my skin to break out - I have sensitive/oily skin, so any new products cause me to break out Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be going back in the future!!
Wonderful experiences at Opal spa. Tried a variety of treatments and they all proved wonderful and relaxing. Really enjoy the personal touch awaiting in treatment rooms upon each visit. Nice touch.
Good pedicure but their towels are so old and there are holes in them. They didn't feel very comfortable during my facial and pedicure.. Also, during the booking, they told me I could use my promotional discount for this visit, but when I got there, they told me I couldn't. It was kind of unprofessional.
Opal holds the bar high! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I recently had my eyebrows "tattooed", Opal spa is the only place I trusted to perform this or any service!! Looking forwaed to my next service!
A perfect blend of professionalism and friendship. The staff, all of them, are so warm and genuine, and they offer superb skills. We are so glad to find this place and these ladies, we've found home for all our spa/RMT needs.
