Was from out of town and bought a Groupon. Me and my mom got the chicken sandwich and they were so good! The bread, sauce, and chicken all was great! We also had the frozen margaritas and they were too good. Sad we couldn’t sit outside with liquor due to store unable. Drink were a little weak but after two we were good . Very cute little place inside. If I come back to NY will definitely be back
It has almost been a year since Ooh La La has opened and it never ceases to amaze. I’ve never ever been anywhere in NYC that has made me feel like I’m on an island paradise away from all the hustle bustle, away from all the stress of daily life, and where everyone can congregate and have a genuine great time. Ooh La La is the place from the moment you walk in! Even if you’re passing by, you’re bound to dance or even let out an “Ooh La La”. The staff are down to Earth people that just want to ensure you can have everything you ask for. The cocktails are absolutely amazing! You can tell a lot of thought went into every pour. Oh, and please don’t even get me started on the food! It feels like your best friend that’s a chef invited you and your friends over for a meal. The mushroom and apple risotto is to die for and the lasagna is classic. This review was waaaaay overdue but well deserved! Wish I could give actual stars to these folks! Thank you Mike, Sebastian, Henry, and Xavier, for what you’ve done and hopefully continue doing!
I have found the most quaint brunch spot! Soon to be the night time low key party spot! You can come here for dinner but I love there brunches. The bar is full, there ambience inside is the most relaxing in the world. Outside is the most upbeat and lively vibe. Your comfortable they have a TV, music, a bar food. I've seen people easily spend the whole day here. The prices are average and the hospitalality is far above. It honestly made me happy just talking with the staff you can feel the great aura coming off of this place. Did I mention the food and drinks are primarily on the healthy side and delicious. Not many places can give you a drink with real lavender but this place can. You won't regret stopping by here this is definitely on my list of must visit cafes in the city. Pop in and grab a drink to go!
Great little joint I just stumbled across. I ended up getting an açaí bow to off set the craziness from the weekend. The bowl was awesome and hit the spot. Wasn’t sweet at all and just cold enough to keep the heat away. Loved the outdoor setup and would come back again soon!
Lovely little neighbourhood spot. Yummy sandwiches with actually good bread!, salads, açai bowls, croissants, pastries and great coffee everything is affordable. Also saw lots of beer options on tap. Highly recommend this place.
Lovely and cozy cafe, has great vibes. Very sweet and attentive bartender/server. Their food and coffee are amazing ... hands down to the best grilled cheese and frozen rosé
It’s so lovely. Gorgeous inside, great staff and the little tart / cake treat I bought was delicious. Looking forward to trying some of the sandwiches on the menu that sound really good! Welcome to the neighbourhood!
I was recently in NYC and had a Groupon for this cafe. I got there just as he was opening so I was his first customer of the day. I feel bad I don't remember his name, Kevin or Henry, but he was awesome. Very friendly, easy to talk to and he made the best espresso martini, which I really needed after walking the Brooklyn Bridge and then trying to find this place. If you're not from there it can be a bit of a challenge. Anyway it was a cute place to stop and refresh, had a great sandwich to soak up the Martini. Just an all around really nice friendly neighborhood little cafe/bar. Will for sure stop in again next time in NYC.
Highly recommend! Food was yummy thanks to Chef Alex. I finished before I could take any photos but I managed to get a photo of my requested drink a Michelada from the chillest barista I've ever met! Definitely a must visit if you're in the neighborhood!
When Visiting New York from out of town, it’s tough to decide on a restaurant to sit down and eat at. There’s so many restaurants!! My wife and I Randomly came across this cafe after walking around for hours, menu looked good so we stopped in. It was the Best decision we have made during our trip! Shrimp tacos, chicken sandwich, margaritas, all FANTASTIC. Laid back friendly vibe, highly recommend!
