I love the place! It’s cozy yet spacious. The noodle flavours pack a punch. The size is right they have large and small bowls. AND you get to sit on beanbags. What else can you ask for?
This place is quite popular. I believe most people came here simply to socialise. One think I can say is that everything here is of pretty good quality. From the food to bean bag chair to the cups and toilet. However personally I don't really like the noodles, they are extremely spicy and the taste is average at best masked by a thick layer of pepper and spicy oil/aqueous solution. The noodle was way to soft. Also the bean bag chair were very uncomfortable.
The food was very good I had and the HC they didn't really mind me or my water after I got my food but it's ok BC the food was great. Also beanbags and outlets
Cozy seating and convenient location but the a little on a spendy side when it comes to the menu, like the $7 hot chocolate here. The drinks are generously portioned though.
Love the noodles here. The decoration is also lovely. A nice place for lunch and afternoon tea. I love the atmosphere here!
It's a cozy place with beautiful decor. Highly recommend their fried chicken.
The decor is very lovely. There are a variety of options for seating; beanie bags, wicker chairs or wooden stools. A very mellow and spacious place to relax. I love their sweet and sour wonton soup SM. Great service and very helpful. I haven't received that kind of service in a long time. I will definitely be back.
AWESOME. The first thing you notice are the waitresses: they are all awesomely cute hot petite Asian girls, and I'm not even interested in girls. Anyways, the food is authentic but would appeal to both the western and eastern palates, service sometimes slightly slow, but the decor. Gosh the decor is beyond excellent. The delicate wooden panels they have along the walls, the polished coat hooks, the paintings hanging on the walls with ridiculous pricetags, and even their water glasses that wobble...everything screams of design and taste. Very pleasant place to be. A little pricy for a poor student's lunch, but it definitely is an awesome place you want to hang out at. Oh and did I mention the beanbag chairs? They have beanbag chairs.
More like 4.5. I love this place. Even though the menu is small each option is a winner. My favourites are the braised beef noodle which is perfect if you feel a little bit under the weather and the Xiao Guo rice noodle which has a great broth and a whole pack of noodles in the small size. The breaded chicken wings are good I like saucy wings better but they come with gloves! To eat them with! And this neat little salt and pepper grinder. The decor, ambiance and music is great music is eclectic [classical, rap, singer-songwriter] but usually awesome. People either love or hate the beanbag chairs but with a bit of shifting you can get them to sit right. Even the bathroom decor is top notch. Sometimes the service is a bit wonky but it's usually because a new person is being trained so don't take it personally. When I see the more experienced servers I know I'm in for a good experience. Their hot black coconut milk tea is also lovely, not too sweet and comes in this awesome pebbled glass mug 500 mL!. You can ask for room temperature water too.
I wandered into this place on a Saturday afternoon with the intent of getting some work done. I spent the entire afternoon there, first drinking a red bean black milk tea, then ordering spicy beef noodles. I wasn't bugged while working, which was nice of the staff especially after they started getting busier. They did, however, keep my glass of water filled at all times without me asking. The spicy beef noodles were great. There was a very generous amount of beef in the soup. The menu warned about the level of spice, but I didn't find it to be particularly spicy, so don't worry about that. The decor is very minimal and well-suited for individuals all the way up to large groups. It can get a little loud at times with people playing cards at the front, but for the most part it was okay. They do have a WiFi network, though it is password protected. I didn't have the need to use the WiFi, so I'm not sure if it's available for patrons!
