I’ve tried several glasses shops across the GTA; both franchise stores and boutiques. I purchased my last pair of glasses from Bonlook, and while they did the job, you do get what you pay for. I was introduced to OYF by a friend, and I can confidently say, I’ve found my new favourite glasses shop. OYF is quaint, personable, and Zey and his staff do a fantastic job of making the experience of purchasing glasses fun. I have an extremely high prescription and Zey was super helpful in educating me on what glasses would look best vs which ones to avoid. All in all, you cannot go wrong with visiting OYF. Oh and did I mention that they carry brands you likely won’t see anywhere else? Thanks again, Zey!
I bought my first-ever pair of prescription glasses at On Your Face and had a wonderful experience. The store owner is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I felt comfortable while browsing for the perfect pair even though I ended up going back to the first ones I tried on. The store owner was very helpful and I didn't feel pressured or like he was just "trying to make a sale", his assistance is definitely genuine. The store's inventory is unique and stylish, with many options to choose from. My glasses arrived in a timely fashion. I've had to have them adjusted once since purchasing them, this was also a quick and easy experience. 10/10 :
I was very happy with the service that I received at On Your Face. There was a great selection of glasses to choose from. So much so that I ended up getting two pairs! I got my glasses in a timely manner. The service that I received was great! I referred a relative and they were happy with their glasses! I forgot to mention - I got my eye exam here as well. Call ahead to schedule an appointment.
I stumbled upon this wonderful place after visiting 4 or 5 other glasses boutiques with pushy sales people and poor quality frames. Zey was there to greet me, and helped me find a set of frames that suited my face. He gave me a great deal, and even made me an extra pair of glasses for free! I highly recommend this place. Great quality product, good prices and friendly staff.
Having been to 10 other places in the area and found nothing to suit me, On Your Face was a miracle. Perfect, super friendly and *genuine* service, great choice of frames and unique styles - I found the perfect pair in a style I wasn't expecting. I had a complex lens prescription that needed fulfilling ASAP and their service was really fast compared to most other local stores. Very grateful to OYF and would recommend them to anybody.
Not only does OYF have an excellent selection of well-priced frames to choose from, the customer service delivered by Zey goes above and beyond any I've experienced elsewhere. His enthusiasm, love of design and genuine desire to fit me with frames that could compliment my features, style and budget was generous, encouraging, never pushy, and helped me fully trust in my choice. Glasses are an investment, and anyone who is willing to invest in you as the customer while you decide on such a major purchase, is a total gem and frankly rare to find in Toronto!
I've been going here for my optical needs for years and every time I visit I leave so happy!! You'll notice the friendly, personable vibe as soon as you walk into the boutique and might even be greeted by Gustavo, the shop bulldog, if you're lucky. They are super professional, helpful and want you to leave satisfied so they will customize for you and make it super easy to find exactly what you're looking for. If you want to be taken care of, and find beautiful unique glasses, you will not be disappointed by OYF Optical.
Zey is great. The last time I bought glasses I went to every store on Queen west before ending up at On Your Face, and I wish I had started there. He has a beautiful selection of frames and lots of helpful advice. Excellent post-purchase service. In particular, I appreciate how so few of his frames have visible logos -- Hugo Boss, if you want me to wear your logo, you'll need to pay me.
Zey is great at what he does—he can determine the frames that suit your face so that you don’t have to try on every pair in the shop if you don’t want to. He’s friendly and nice and remembers you a year later. When someone loves what they do it makes for a great experience for the customer. The choices are beautiful and unique. I totally recommend On Your Face for eyeglasses and sunglasses.
Shopped around a number of places, but found they had the best selection for what I was looking for. Great frames, and excellent customer service. Zey looked after me, and was helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. My glasses were ready within only a few days, and staff were eager to help resize the frames to my face after having worn them a few days.
