Olivera's Restaurant

I had never been here previously! It provides Portland with a great welcoming atmosphere. I stop here frequently when driving along 96. Pretty easily accessible from the highway! The food is BOMB! They put great spices and seasonings on all of their food! Great spot to watch any sporting event. Parking can be a challenge if you go during dinner time!

First time I've ever been here and was here for business. Nice and clean. I would say the cost was mid range as compared to other restaurants of this type. They have a lunch buffet that was small but the food was very flavorful and well presented. Only complaint I have is the volume of the music was way too loud for a lunch meal and none of the televisions were closed caption so they could be read related to the loud music.

My husband and I came in today. We went to a wedding last night. And had a three hour drive home. We ordered one margarita on the rocks (mine) and one blended (my husbands.) The blended one wouldn’t go through the straw so we asked for either a new one either blended better or warm and we could add the ice already used and it would melt and go through a straw. The server came back and informed us “I’ve been given orders not to serve you. I’m sorry” we had already ordered our food. We had a long night at the wedding. We had not had one drink since 10pm the night before at the wedding but for some reason we can’t get served at 1pm for one margarita?? We spent a lot of money ordering food prior to being told we could not be served so of course we still paid our bill and tipped out server well since (whether or not she was the reason we weren’t able to get a margarita) we took our food in boxes and ended up throwing it away Bc it was no good once we got home. The food was soggy ( I’m sure it would have been great if we could have been treated with respect and ate it there). It was all around a joke. I would never ever recommend anyone to go get lunch there because they are disrespectful.

Very good bar food. Cool, modern building with great service. I also noticed they had a salad bar which can be hard to find these days!

You definitely get what you pay for, both in quality and quantity with the food here. Whether it's a family dinner or a date, the atmosphere accommodates all visitors. Have gone multiple times, will return multiple times.
