Food and service was amazing! I ate so much! The place is clean and our waitress was friendly and accommodating. We go to this restaurant every once in a while, probably more if we lived closer. My favorite is always the bread sticks, and all you can eat soup and salad. The atmosphere is amazing and my children love all the decor on the walls. Our Waitress was so accommodating, she handed my young children a mint chocolate before we started eating. They were so hungry and interesting enough it settle them. I would def recommend friends and family to go here for a nice evening outing at The Olive Garden in Grand Forks.

Went in for our 20th anniversary and our server Cole was fantastic. Fast and friendly service, kept checking in and the food was good. Even went up and beyond expectations with getting us our dessert and wishing us a happy anniversary

During my visit I took my 5 month old son. The staff made an honest mistake and the manager corrected it right away without me asking for a correction. My food took over 47 minutes because somehow it was lost in the system. Honestly it happens. But the manager himself came out and personally apologized and took responsibility for the event. I gained a lot of respect for the manager right out of the gate. 4 days later I am still impressed with my interactions with the management team. The server was swamped but gave great attention to detail when she was able to come to my table. The food was fantastic. I got the shrimp scampi and strawberry cream cake. Absolutely worth the visit. Thank you for a great experience.
This restaurant is usually one of our go to restaurants in Grand Forks every time we cross the border. Staff are always friendly and food was always great except for this occasion. The server in charge of our table had somehow difficulty getting our orders straight. First the drinks then the appetizers wrong and salty and after talking to the Manager, we were served the right appetizer and right set of drinks. When we ordered our main, Sirloin and salmon. Salty as the sea as they say. I wasn’t able to eat my main because it was really salty. My husband was trying to be nice and tried to finish his meal. I complained about mine. The General Manager offered to take it to out of our bill. That’s it. We brought it to their attention so they can make adjustments in their service. We are business people and we know how it works. After being served the main, nobody asked how the food was. We were not even given their unlimited bread, not even water. So disappointed with the service we got. Not likely to visit this restaurant again.
Myles is so strong he carried two trays everything at once best calamari ever had in my life! In town Fresh! Clean fragrant Definitely coming back! Emily is such a great server . She was fast and kind . Lots of help made the salad even better . Emily should get a raise . Emily!!! You are a fantastic served. Very nice yay 2 mints fantastic drinks lettuce Jason is awesome
We walked in and were "greeted" or technically not greeted by a look of "why are you here" by the hostess. Took her over a minute to say anything as we stood there with her staring at us. No hello or how can I help you. Just her staring at us. I finally said ,"yes, we would like to have a table" at which point she finally asked how many. Very poor introduction to a restaurant. We were then seated at a table by another hostess who also didnt say anything, but only given 3 sets of silverware for our party of 6. The good side was that our server was pleasant and took care of everything we needed in timely fashion. Food was good and hot and fresh, minus one single breadstick that was as hard as a rock for having just came out of the oven. Overall the experience could have been better. Consider who you have working your front end counter that is the "first face" of the restaurant. We almost left, and maybe should have after our not so welcoming entrance.
Our group has used Olive Garden two years in a row for the Christmas dinner. Last year they had warmers for the food, but forgot to bring anything to start them with. The food was, at best, lukewarm and therefore of poor quality. This year they didn't even pretend. They just brought the food in the containers and set them out on the table, cold. Not even really lukewarm, honestly. The sauces had congealed, the noodles were okay, the meat was not hot. The rolls were cold and there wasn't any sort of butter or anything to put on them. And this was for the first time through the line. Anyone wanting seconds was in even worse shape although why anyone would want seconds is a mystery. The best part of the entire dinner were the little mints at the end of the table, but it appeared that maybe they literally only give one per person. If Olive Garden is chosen to cater next year, I will not be attending our Christmas party or I'll bring a sack lunch. It was that bad. And not once, but in 2021 and in 2022.
A great little coast to coast Italian chain, here in this Grand aforesaid tho they like to seat everybody in the same 3 tables when the entire restaurant is empty and pack in people on top of each other instead of allowing space and afforidng a comfortable meal and conversation…. They sat us next to a couple and the back of the restaurant where there was no reason to put people on top of each other yet they chose to do that even when I mentioned to the hostess seating us that there's no reason we all need to be so cramped, to pack people into the same space when the entire restaurant was empty… we were sat next to a couple, that couple who left shortly thereafter and then the staff proceeded to seat 2 more tables directly around us in the same manner, as we are out of towners visiting our hosts we had much to discuss and proceeded to do so and the next 2 couples sat silenty and listened to our ramblings.... restaurants are meant be social and offer a meeting place... mgmt should not be so weak as to miss that point and recognize such.
