I went for my very first time last week, April 2022 and I have never met such amazing people who work there and come in. What I thought was just a bakery, I was very pleasantly suprised they have soup and sandwiches. I myself bought their AMAZING beef and barley soup im sorry nana it was better than hers, just a bit My Boyfriend bought a beautiful Fresh Veggie Wrap. Honestly I'm not a veggie person but hold the phone... THIS WAS AWSOME. I haven't turned completely but This is definitely a srart. I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO ANYONE coming into Carelton place...Stop by, will not disappoint.
The sandwiches are great, but the staff never wear gloves when preparing any food. I saw someone stock the milk and sodas and then go behind the counter and prepare my sandwich. They cough all over when making food, and the place smells like cigarettes. Used to be my favorite spot, but cleanliness is not a forte.
Absolutely love their sandwiches and treats but was disappointed to find out more then half the treats they don't even make. As much as I love their sandwiches their customer service has always been awful. Sorry but it's true they are rude, short and means. And I'm not the only one I've spoke to that has experienced this. !
Do yourself a favour and get one of their sandwiches, they're to die for Everything here is delicious and worth it, and the staff are super friendly, love visiting here every time

GREATEST SANDWICHES IN THE WORLD! I personally recommended the curry chicken sandwich on brown bread. Staff is very friendly and conversational a great spot to compliment a small town truly. I purchase from here way too many times in the summer time. No regrets.
An authentic real bakery where everything is made fresh. My breakfast cinnamon roll was delicious. They also offer homemade sandwiches.

I am giving it a 2 instead of a 5 because I found a 6 inch hair in my scone and when I called them to advise them to be more careful , the woman who called herself the owner pretty much shrugged me off as a nuisance. Apart from that the bread, scones , cinnamon rolls and sandwiches have always been delicious. I was very put off by the scorn I received from whoever o talked to.
