Tranquil. Beautiful. Calming. Relaxing. Good walking trails. Good fishing. Canadian geese. Bird watching. Wild flowers & lilies. Even a gazebo. Plus benches.
I think it’s only open during the peak season. It was closed when we got there but we went for a short walk around the paths behind it and along lake Runnymede

VT was a republic before it became the first state to join the USA after Rev War. Even quaint facts have their places in history. Nearby was VT's former state prison. It is now a multi-unit apt/condo.
