When you want the BEST food the hood got it! Old Chicago Pizza Co THEE BEST Chicago deep dish period! They upgraded the size of our pizza no charge! The cheese bread was tasty also. The service was quick and friendly. The next I come back to Chicago I’m going to old Chicago pizza company for my deep dish fix!
Ordered medium deep dish sausage and beef and it's delicious. The sauce is good, with good seasonings, quality tomatoes. Cheese is also high quality with a great butter crust. Thin crust is decent too. Delivery was A1. And threw in a 2 Liter, that's love. I like their slices too for walk in.
We tried this place out and got 2 larges and an individual and it was 70ish$. They had a nashville hot chicken and honey we got the individual of, and it was pretty dang tasty. We got a large pepperoni and large 7 meat i think. They were both pretty good. The crust had a nice crispiness to it. I will say its kind of annoying on the pizza sizes. They seem to only have a 16" and like 8". So IMO they are pretty darn expensive for what it is. We enjoyed it, but I think grabbing a specialty pizza every now and then might be the way to go. It's too expensive for the size of them. Service when we got there was good, however when my wife added a pie to the order she mentioned that the person on the phone seemed annoyed and mean.
I ordered the Large Godfather, beef topping, onion and green peppers. This Pizza is too greasy and too saucy to enjoy. Witnessed the owner belittling degrading staff member-NEVER again.
I normally don't do these reviews, but I had to for tis one. The first time I ordered the garbage deep dish pizza medium it was simply delicious. I ordered it a week later and what I got was an uncut, tasteless, greasy, extra-extra cheesy mess that made me sick. In fact, the 'garbage' pizza was missing a very important ingredient, the pepperonis. The two slice I had didn't have a single pepperoni on it. I will never order from this restaurant again. I've got to dispose of this pizza that I paid almost $30 for. What a mess!
Love it there food is hot and good never late always here in 45 minutes no LATER and not only that the deal he throw is amazing we only ordered wings and 2 large pizzas and we got bread sticks wings 2 pizza a 2 liter and 2 slices of deep dish just for 57$ didn’t even ask I will always order from here when I’m craving pizza for sure!!!!!!
I had the normal crust pepperoni and a deep dish piece. Very good crust and sauce on both. The pepperoni was quality and flavorful. Enjoyed it. Both pieces large and total was $9!
Great pizza, friendly service, and order accuracy. Toppings were sufficiently generous one of my pet peeves - I'm sure it's one of yours too and had a pleasant firmness. Flavor overall was well balanced, with a sweetness in the sauce not overly sweet, and a slight saltiness in the crust. Not so much cheese that you begin to seriously question your life expectancy. Like most of the great South Side pizza joints, don't expect a dining room, a maître d', fancy advertising, tables / chairs, or any decor for that matter. In fact, the place is nearly invisible at night from the street. Who cares? It's a pizza kitchen, straight up, no pretense of being anything but the real deal. Vegetarian options: Yes, you can put giardiniera on your pizza. Yes, you can put giardiniera AND jalapeños on your pizza.
This is the worst pizza I've ever eaten I ordered cheesy garlic bread I received bread no garlic taste whatsoever I called back and the guy said let me check or I'll make it for you I told him I'll come get it later the pizza to Chicago stuff crust was horrible I had a piece of carrot cake it was the best thing and it didn't come from them over $40 I'm still hungry couldn't eat it Simply horrible and the guy who answers the phone is choppy and no good customer service but the delivery man was courteous
While in Chicago, you'll definitely have to try a slice of the city's deep dish style pizza. This restaurant may not serve best among its competitors, the pizza, nonetheless, is decent enough to be much better than others I have had previously. This isn't also your typical chain pizzeria.
