Old Bagel House

The bagel house is a really nice place to get rolls patties and doughnuts. The prices are okay and this place is open 24 hours a day which is great. I always buy stuff from here and enjoy it so much. They take cash and card payments too. Can be very busy in there as this is a popular place to get food.

After, the presentation have seen, the taste of their pastries give some kind of disappointment, at least for me … I tried two of theirs, as you can see in my pictures. The products are not named and priced, but if you ask, the information will be given to you. I was just wondering if their pastries taste can be as good as their customer service, what they can achieve with their business. … anyway, your taste expectation can be different, so you even can love their product.

That was up there with the Brick Lane bagel shop. Slabs of salt beef with gherkin and mustard.

I ordered two doughnuts which were fine but the lamb patty which I paid £3.10 for was delivered COLD, when I called I was told that you have to request it to be warmed, I mean what place that sells patties have ever delivered them cold also it isn't made clear you have to request it hot I'm not impressed

A Stoke Newington staple for those who live by day and even those who are nightcrawlers, because yep, it’s 24 hours!! My experience of this place holds itself to the beginning of the wee hours. I cycle past the closed! Dalston McDonalds corporation knowing full well that a lox further up the arterial will satisfy me more. It’s speedy even when it’s busy and the servers are friendly too. The place takes card with no minimum as well as cash, which can be a pain at those kebab shops. Even better, instead of sweating out a souvlaki or chicken McNuggets or etc. and feeling heavy the next morning, the bagel — along with any of the range of pastries on offer — is just what the doctor ordered. Love this place to bits for its practicality, truly iconic.

Have been here three times for the salt beef bagels. 2nd time - the texture was too much like spam, still tasted good though. Other times were perfect. Price is good.

I enjoyed it I ordered two bagels, salmon cream cheese and a slushie, blue one. The people are friendly, polite and helpful. I love the foodie smells and the cake was delicious. I'm definitely going back there again, and certainly recommend as a hidden treasure.

I bought the spinach and feta parcel and a piece of cake, was disappointed about the taste and freshness of both purchases. Cake was tasteless and dry, the parcels were oily and smells eggy. I will avoid this place.

Decent food and very fresh. Not quite the same bagel you'll get from brick Lane but it's up there. Worth a visit

Iam from Canada and we call this corn beef. This deli compares to any Jewish deli in Canada. And their donuts and cornish pasties are excellent!!!!
