About

We are a Synagogue (Beth Shalom Synagogue) and Community Centre (OJCC) located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Story

Family Support and Development: The OJCC will provide an environment that fosters and supports Jewish families throughout all aspects of the Jewish life cycle.

Programs and Services: The OJCC will coordinate, plan and implement religious services, educational programs, as well as cultural and recreational activities for its members as well as the general community.

Welcoming Environment: The OJCC will offer an accessible environment for its members and visitors to worship, and take part in spiritual, cultural, and social activities in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Mission

"Together We Are Community" The mission of the Okanagan Jewish Community Centre is to work towards building a strong and unified Jewish Community in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The OJCC encourages an inclusive atmosphere of understanding and respect amongst Jews of different backgrounds.
