Ojo Sushi

A very long overdue review March - May 2022.! This place is great! Ordered take-out a few times and ate there once. We were always happy with the consistency of the quality, the service and overall experience. We’ve ordered the sushi combo #4 & #5, and Asian Fusion Combo B5 for 2 people and the taste and portions were excellent. My only suggestion would be that they add a veggie option to the B5 combo because we had to order broccoli dish separately. The Dine-in experience was great because we got a chance to sample a bit of everything and it’s a BYOB, so all smiles around. This place is gem in the St-Leonard area. But don’t take my word for it, discover for yourself and be the judge!

First thing I noticed was this disgusting fish tank on a table. Why is it even there and left out for all to see! That was the first red flag. See my pictures. Secondly, the water glasses were not cleaned properly and had stains on the outside and lint or hair in another. Then after 20 minutes of waiting for someone to take are order which we had flagged down, just to find out we had the wrong menu. Service wasn't great! Food was mediocre at best. We did not receive everything we ordered, had to ask multiple times for what was remaining or what happened to certain dishes we never received and still not got them. The vegetables stir fry was horrendous and had this thick creamy gewy cream over it, considering the un even temperatures of some vegetables to hot to eat it would burn your palette to others cold enough to swallow I am almost certain they were frozen and microwaved. Also noticed some vegetables weren't cleaned or potentially rotten a little.see pictures of 2 examples, water chestnut and celery . I didn't even bother taking pictures of the rest of the food because I was losing my appetite really fast. When we received meals, the waiters couldn't bother to ask who ordered what, same for drinks. Didnt even acknowledge the table, simply walked past, placed it on the table and kept walking. When asked for a straw he handed it to me barehand without protecting the straw. Also waited 20 minutes for the receipt to than be told we had to go to the front cash. They made no effort to service us as customers or first timers. 1 star for service 1 star for cleanliness 2 stars for food only because I managed to eat enough but I'll never be back.

a new restaurant. it's pretty roomy. everywhere is clean. Works very fast. this is very good. prices are fine not high, normal.... decor is good. seats are comfortable. Food tastes very good. no smell etc. this is a good thing. fresh and delicious. I couldn't see if there is a children's park inside, it would be nice if there was. WCs are also clean. I recommend you to go go go!!

First time going there with my husband. The food was good and the staff was ok. I gave only 3 stars because when it was time to pay, the tip was included in the receit. We were only two and it was written that the tip was included for a group of 6 People or more. Is it even allowed in montreal ? Usualy we give a tip of 15% or more . I felt as if they didn't trust us to be generous and I really didn't like this feeling so we are not coming back. We will continue to go to Kenda Sushi on Decary wich serves almost the same dishes but don't include the tip on the receit at least not for us. It's unfortunate because Ojo suhi is closer to home I hate when restaurants are "crying" for tips It's optionnal, they don't have the right to force it on us.

My husband and I really enjoy this restaurant! The fact that you order with your phone is really practical and makes it easier to enjoy your meal with a click of the button. Food and sushi is always great!

Food was good. But service was a bit off. After we got sat, we weren’t told how their ordering service worked. Our main dish came before our entree.

Fast service. Fresh food. Very nice. Decent place ,nothing chic you can't expect that from all you can eat restaurants

Good food, fast service, and friendly staff... but had to ask 3 times for ginger, soy sauce and wasaby... my only complaint was that, otherwise n8ce placeFood: 5/5

i ordered take out, -1 star because the service was horrendous. although they were quick. they should update their pamphlet online. other than that, sushi was good, moist rice and a variety of sushi rolls. but i wouldn’t come back
