We were there today for lunch, which was great.  Great food, service, reasonable pricing.   Had been many years since visiting this eatery but was as great as I remember.

We stopped in for lunch and we're greeted by the owner who gave us the bad news that they had sold the building and was to be demolished.   Her friend Helen who owns Helene's Hideaway was there and Oil Rig lady suggest we try Helene's   and we were not disapointed.  We are sorry to see an old landmark going out of buisiness.  It will be missed.

This is small town ontario soul food. Meals have a homemade feel and great service.

Old station type restaurant, historic decor, clean washrooms, slow service, great tasty burgers with real fresh cut fries from an updated menu but they always seem to be out of something (back bacon). Handicap parking and completely accessable near to the heart of Petrolia.
