Ogden Point Sundial is a wonderful and easy stroll along a pier in Victoria. Along the journey, there are informational signs of interest. There are also directional signs if you'd like to continue your journey. There are a couple of locations where a gate is available to allow you to walk down to the water if you might be interested. The distance is approximately 800 meters. You'll be able to see birds and other wildlife. Do yourself a favor and check out Ogden Point Sundial, you will not be disappointed! Beautiful view. Must see at dark! We walked down below beside the main walkway. Be prepared to get soaked!! Especially after the first set of stairs up to the main walkway. It was such a fun experience though! :
One of our ports during our Alaska cruise. We arrived at 5pm, walked around the pier and then took a bus tour. Very nice place to walk and we were hitting sunset so the views were great!!!
A lovely walkway that offers spectacular views of the ocean and the opportunity to see the busy harbour traffic consisting of cruise ships, ferries, sailboats, helicopters, and more. You might also see seals, otters, and other sea creatures.
Worth going to see and experience! There is the sundial at the beginning of the path which is cool to read about and try. The walk along the ocean wall is longer than it seems but has beautiful views and gets you out further into the water. Sometimes you'll see people fishing along the sides. Very nice walk, beautiful views. You can expect a little cooler weather change or wind as you walk out along the wall. Depending on size of waves there is the possibility of getting a little wet.

Perfect place for romantic walks, sunset, watching the Olympic Mountains, the open sea and backdrops of Langford and Esquimalt. Historic and 100+ years old. The entry point has a sundial and access to ocean beach and a resort for coffee and stuff. Also the place to see the wonderful cruises coming to the shores of Victoria. Recommended!

This is a nice spot to stop if you’re on a walk, run, or out cycling along the water. The area is a little bit industrial and it seems to be where the larger cruise ships dock. The view of the water from the area is spectacular.
I was surprised how much I would enjoy it. I guess the entree fee is what gets me. Maybe they could give away a few seed packets to make up for it. . But we were there for 3 hours and would have stayed longer but it was closing time. So I guess value for time was definitely there. So many pretty flowers and so many Beautiful ones.
