Ogam Chicken

Food is very authentic Korean cuisine. The staff are friendly and apologetic about the slow service. If it's busy, expect to wait about 20-30 minutes to get a table then an additional 20-30 minutes before your first visit with the waitress. The food takes time as well. If you're out with friends and can have a good conversation while waiting and you're not starving when you arrive, this place is perfect. I would come again as the food is worth the wait in my opinion.

The chicken is 5*, best Korean fried chicken I've had in Calgary. It was almost too fresh to eat (very hot initially) and the exterior is ridiculously crispy while the meat is so juicy. Sauces we're very tasty as well, with "seasoned" and "spicy soy" being my favourites. Onion rings are delicious as well! Unfortunately the service was very slow and pricing seemed much higher than other Korean chicken places. It was over $30 for 5pc dark meat + 12 white meat nuggets + onion rings and a couple sauces for the chicken. For these reasons I will be back to treat myself someday, but my daily lunches will likely be elsewhere.

Love this place! Honestly the best battered chicken in Calgary. The chicken is consistently good. Very nice servers and for the quality of the chicken it comes out at a decent time. Love it.

If you’re in for Korean Fried Chicken this is a good choice. When it’s busy the service here can get extremely slow. Like hour+ wait times. On a typical day the wait is not as bad. A typical wait for a restaurant. The other food here such as the rice dishes served with beef, chicken or other meats is ok. The presentation is really good and the quality is good but not excellent. The fried chicken is a little greasy but flavorful. I’d recommend giving them a chance. A great place for fried chicken but the other dishes don’t really impress.

The real KFC! Korean Fried Chicken, and this little spot is a delight. Crispy fried fresh chicken with a number of seasonings and sauces. Hot Soy Garlic and Creamy Garlic are two favourites. Great place to grab takeout!
