Like other reviews, my wife and I had the fettuccine alfredo and the sure seemed separated to us. Our kids had spaghetti and the sauce tasted like it was from a can to me. But it wasn't terrible and we all left totally filled up. The service was slower than I would have liked even though the place want busy. Perhaps had we ordered something Greek we would have liked it more.
Old school Greek pizza joint. Veal cutlets were well made but suggest you ask for the gravy on the side as it was terribly salty. Pizza was perfect classic Greek style which is my favorite style. Moussaka was on point as well.
Agree with prior post: Very salty pizza. Also was dry and the crust overpowered the ingredients with the exception of the saltiness. Nice owner, seems to have a good client base. First and last time though. Mariners is cheaper and better in my opinion.
I recently got one of their pizza's for take out and I have to say it was very disappointing. It was so salty, I don't know if it was the meats or cheese, but it made it almost inedible! Tried Mariner Pizza the following week ... so much better!
Posted hours are not reliable. Drove all the way into town to find dining room closed despite both their signage and google saying they're open. Wasted time, wasted gas. Pretty disappointing.
Friendly, fun service Absolutely fantastic pasta. Served piping hot , delicious flavour lots of meat sauce , perfectly cooked noodles and lots of cheese ! Wine was good and very reasonably priced. Complete experience ....Worth every penny !!
Good place. Unfortunately they only do pick-ups and delivery because of the pandemic. Nevertheless the do have good food. I hope they do have eat-in again sometime soon. I like visiting the place when I visit the Island.
We've gone to this restaurant several times while visiting family in Sidney. The pasta dishes are consistently good, and whoever has ordered greek food or ribs has always liked their meal. Service has historically been on the slow side, but now that the restaurant has been cut in half, the service speed seems to have picked up. I didn't ask why the restaurant was down-sized but with fewer staff, more limited space and obviously fewer tables, there should be a more personable, quicker service. That also means that it will be harder to get a seat at busier times... The night we went there wasn't a line out the door; it was about two thirds full. During summer months, it's typically bursting at the seams, so we'll see how this new arrangement works.
Terrible service. After being seated we waited at least five minutes before someone even offered us menus. Although five of us were at the table, only two had water glasses in front of them and they were the only two people served water despite my also requesting a glass. After we ordered we watched as three tables of 4, 2 & 8 people who arrived after us, were served their meals. It took close to an hour to be served five basic pasta dishes. Having worked as a server for quite sometime I do understand that tables do get forgotten. And given the sequence of events it was obvious the server had neglected to place our order. When speaking with the owner about our situation however, he responded as if it was no big deal. And just said these things sometimes happen. No apology. No amends. There was also no apology from the server. Hands down it was the worst service I have ever experienced.
