Great sandwiches good sizes. Got the Thanksgiving 365 and the Grinder and they both hit the spot. Not overstuffed or messy. Staff was polite.
I used to work down the street from Ocean State Sandwich Company and frequently got lunch there. Every time I got service with a smile and a great looking and tasting sandwich. I no longer work in Providence, but if I’m ever back at lunch time I know right where I will go!
For my first visit, it was a good. Will return and update my review after my second visit.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on the go and it was a great choice! We ordered both the Grinder and Apple Valley Turkey sandwiches.
I just shared. OMG, OUTSTANDING!!
I caught them at closing time and they were pretty good about. They explained that my sandwich bread was going to be different which I appreciated. I really liked my sandwich. It was freshly made and delicious. I plan on trying something different from here and would suggest that you try them out also
They have a very large menu with out of the box specials. They usually get busy at lunch time so arrive by 11:30 for quick service and a seat. Great local sandwich shop!
I got the ultimate grinder and I only got 4 slices of meat lots of lettuce and my bread was hard. I’m new to R.I so I’m trying to find a good sub shop, but I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
