I wanted to like this hotel but there's a lot of negatives. 1st, they told me parking is $23 which is pricey but when I checked out, they gave me a bill for $30 for parking. Why not just be transparent? They gave me 2 different invoices, a $23 and a $30. Shady business practice and the girl at the desk wasn't very nice.nnI got to the hotel at 2:15pm, the room was not available so I came back at 3:15pm and it was finally available. At exactly 11am the next day, my card no longer worked on any of the doors including the gym which I wanted to grab a drink of water before I left. There should be a grace period.nnThe lights to the room flickered for 30seconds when turning on, the wiring may be old. My hotel room was split into 2 rooms 34a and 34b or something similar, my window was view to the other room's balcony which is strange. Luckily I didn't see anyone enter the balcony or I would have to close my blinds.nnThe room was pretty cold even though it was pretty mild outside. I didn't realize until the next day that the fireplace had to be turned on by the light switch on the wall.nnThere are trains that go by like every hour. If you're not a deep sleeper, it might bother you.nn1 plus is there is a gym with treadmill and dumbbells but then some guy came in there when I was working out and was staring at me. I got the feeling he worked there.nnAll in all, I wouldn't stay at the hotel again. And I definitely wouldn't park there again. I would try a bed and breakfast for half the price. There's no breakfast included in this hotel and the price is somewhat high.
This hotel used to provide excellent service, but my recent experience was disappointing. After a tiring flight from another city, we arrived at the front desk, where a rude staff member Caucasian informed us that we couldn't check in because I didn’t have my credit card—my mistake, which I fully acknowledge. However, his attitude was unnecessarily rude, and he made no effort to de-escalate the situation. Would have been way better talking to a robot. While he did call me a cab and provided information about a nearby hotel, it was only upon my request. As we were leaving, a Filipino staff member kindly took the time to explain, with patience and professionalism, why the hotel’s credit card policy is different. I wish I had interacted with him first.
The hotel is great. Excellent location. Decent room, coffee. I would recommend a higher floor room ours was on 1st floornnWhy the two starsn1. The train goes on all night periodically. We could barely sleepn2. same with the heater / ACn2. The shower head could not be adjusted for water flow. Felt like you were under a water tap.n3. We paid extra for a view room. You cannot see the view from the bed.
Talking about your Guests private information is illegalnnI left a medical devise in my room they threw it out. I had to call back several times finally getting it back This was possibly one of the worst experiences for a hotel. Also some of the rooms face other rooms and they may I've already been coming to me spread some false information.nTalking about your guest private information is illegal
Lights flickered in the room, sink wouldn't drain in the bathroom, but most importantly room smelt of mold and when I woke up in the morning I had a sore throat and cough. I don't feel the rooms are safe to stay in.
