Oat Couture Coffee Shop is where it's oat!nnI come here often and If you're in the mood for a cozy hangout spot that doubles as a productivity or a procrastination spot, Oat Couture is your place. The vibes are so lovely and cozy, The prices are reasonable, so you won't have to break the bank for your caffeine fix or that perfect cup of tea. It’s got good music and a calm atmosphere.nnThe staff are so friendly and nice. Plus, they understand the pain of waiting a tad too long, we waited a bit longer than is ideal this one day because there was only one guy working and it was packed and he gave us a free drink.
Good food, nice staff, beautiful atmosphere, but not a lot of seats and uncomfortable.nnEnjoyed the “Lunch Box” oats. I got the larger size and it was very filling. It is a bit dry because of the peanut butter, so I wish they had more berries to provide more moisture to the dish. It is still tasty though.nnAlso tried the “Street” panini and it was good, but they’re not prepared on site.nnOverall it’s a nice place if you can find a seat. Would definitely come back if I’m in the area.
While it's a place for oatmeal I think their breakfast sandwiches are better. They toast it up real nice. My go to is the Belmont. Drinks are good, atmosphere is nice. Nice local joint to check out in old Ottawa south.
I've been wanting to try this place and it didn't disappoint!! So many sweet and savoury oatmeal options, mine was the seasonal special the Griswold: sweet/tart cranberry sauce mixed in the oats, topped with perfect bacon, gf mini pancakes, maple syrup, sliced peaches & whipped cream - wow! Perfect blend of sweet and salty!! My daughter had a vegan breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed.nBeing celiac I appreciated all the gluten free options, even a few on the bakery display.nI also love how they're giving back to the community by offering breakfast bags to go for people in need!
This is a fun spot in Old Ottawa South that I like to go to from time to time. During my latest visit, I had a delicious breakfast sandwich, energy ball, and coffee see photos below. In the past, meanwhile, I have gone here with my wife for a lovely date. Overall, this is a great place to come, sit back, and relax.
