Spacious cafe with large community-style tables. I only had coffee so can’t speak to the food, but looked like most people came for breakfast. Staff didn’t know what beans were being used for espresso and drip coffee which I thought was odd ‍ It’s on a lower level, about 6 steps down to get in. 1hr free parking on side streets.
The atmosphere was very cool and chill and the food was delicious. They have wonderful gluten-free options. I highly recommend the kale and halloumi salad!
It was my second time visiting drip house this morning and I had a much better experience than my first! The guys working there were friendly and welcoming. They were offering a salted caramel chai, I asked for it as an iced latte with espresso instead. They happily accommodated me, which I truly appreciated. The salted caramel is definitely a MUST try, truly delicious!!
Really lovely place to come and work, and I really enjoyed their baked goods and drinks! Calm atmosphere to chat with friends or work for the day, service may be a little slow on busy days but it’s a place that you’d probably come to enjoy with some time on hand! Recommend the chocolate croissant and mocha, favourite combo to order! Avocado toast was also really good!
During a busy lunch-hour i ordered the salmon avocado toast to eat in. When my plans suddenly changed, i asked the kitchen to wrap it up to go. When i got back to my desk, i found the most delicious, beautifully “plated” and generous creation in recent memory. It was piled high with tasty salmon, fresh avocado, dill and cream cheese, all nicely arranged on crunchy and light yet hearty bread. I look forward to my next lunch here. Thank you to the chef and to the young lady handling the entire front of the busy bistro.
