Just want to take a moment to talk about what a great experience we had at Oasis. My son is very into insects and reptiles, and my in-laws offered to set him up with a terrarium as a birthday gift. Initially he wanted a praying mantis, so I called over to Oasis and asked about mantises. The staff member I spoke to explained that mantises aren't really available at this time of year because their life cycle begins in the spring. He asked how old my son was and suggested we consider a leopard gecko as a starter terrarium pet for a child, stating they were easy to care for and do well with people. He sounded so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we decided to drive out to St Albert the next day to see the geckos. When we arrived, we explained why we were there and asked for some help picking out the gecko and all the things we would need for the terrarium. Adrian took care of us. He answered every question we had and made sure we knew everything to set us up for success with our new pet. He was very patient with my son. After we got home and got everything set up, I was having a problem with the heat lamp, so I called back to the store and Adrian fixed me right up. I would highly recommend Oasis for all of your fish and reptile needs. The staff are knowledgeable, caring, and great with the little zoologists in training.
We have dealt extensively with Oasis pretty much since they opened , we have a large collection of lizards and frogs and have had nothing less than stellar service from Adrian & Crystal.nTheir knowledge of the product and critters they sell is top shelf and I have called Adrian for help several times during a busy part of his day and he has always taken whatever time is required to sort out the issue I am dealing with.....so top marks for this business.nThis also is the cleanest,best kept pet store I have seen hands down.....congratulations on a job well done Crystal , Adrian & staff !
Fantastic service! I asked a LOT of questions and never felt like I was being annoying. Great advice and I will be back. Beautiful choice of products at very reasonable prices, from decor to feeding.
I am so glad I took the drive out to Oasis this morning! What a gem of a store.nSure it's not the biggest, but it is thoughtfully arranged and stocked with everything you could possibly need... And then some!nThe fish looked happy and healthy, and despite being busy the staff took their time to acknowledge and help everyone.nThank you so much for your time today, and for my new giant ramshorn! I will definitely see you again. Perhaps for a tarantula next time! In the meantime, my gal says thanks for the crickets!
I love this store,,, all the staff are fantastic. Both Nick and Adrian have helped me with my newfound interest in Tarantula's. Their advise is always reliable and the store is beautiful. I count on them to feed my collection and the food items I take home are always healthy and plump.
