The Oakview PTO is about parents/guardians and teachers coming together to support our school and to help our students become the best they can be.
The PTO is for all parents, guardians and teachers of Oakview Middle School students.
The PTO:
- Raises funds, primarily through "Pay-Not-To-Fundraise" donations
- Coordinates the Box Tops for Education fundraising program
- Determines a budget to distribute funds raised
- Organizes Friends and Fun Nights for Oakview students
- Organizes dinners for staff on Parent/Teacher conference nights and Staff Appreciation nights
In order to do all of this the PTO:
- Meets several times throughout the school year.
- Holds a budget planning meeting in fall each year to determine the budget for the school year.
- Coordinates volunteers for various events for the school year. (If you are interested in volunteering for anything, please go to our web site for more information. Sign-ups for actual events are done through “SignUpGenius”.)
