We were new to this school and community but are so grateful God led us to OCS. Our student loves it. The staff and teachers are so helpful, kind and quick to help create a wondeful learning and growing environment for our child. We are grateful for the families we are getting to know at OCS and foremost for the Christ centered education which has been apparent in the teachers' deep hope for their class, faculty and staff interactions with our student and family, and time to worship in chapel. Highly recommend making a visit to see if the school is a good fit for your student and God is leading you to OCS.
Our girls 4th & 2nd Grade have been attending OCS for 5 years now and we could not be happier! They are enrolled in the Spanish Immersion Program, and even though my husband and I do not speak fluent Spanish, we are so pleased to see how quickly they are picking up the langauge! Of course their specials classes are in English, and this program is optional they have English classrooms at every grade level too, but we love it! Everyone at OCS is so kind; it is like a big family!
Oakland Christian has been a huge blessing to my family. During this season of unrest in our culture, OCS has been a constant blessing.great communication from administration and staff, loving teachers that care about the whole being of my child, and amazing opportunities within and outside, to love those around us, Oakland Christian has surpassed all our expectations. I am so happy that my daughter has been able to go through 6 years here, and now my son will begin his education at OCS with a firm foundation in Christ, which is the forefront at OCS. 5 Stars all around!!!
OCS has been a great fit for our family. The faculty and support staff challenge our child both spiritually and academically. We are very happy here!
This is our daughter`s 2nd year at Oakland Christian and currently her freshmen year. It has been a great transition for her with caring and responsive teachers, a welcoming environment, and Christ-centered rigorous academics with opportunities for sports, music, and arts.
Our son is completing his first year at Oakland Christian. My husband and I search the few schools. When we came for initial meeting at Oakland Christian we were impressed with the individual that gave us a tour. Both my husband and I enjoyed meeting the principal. His teachers this year has been phenomenal. Our son is in rolled in the Spanish immersion program. We were nervous yet so excited for our son to have the opportunity to learn a new language. With the support of his teacher and efforts at home, this is been a very successful year for a child. If you’re considering Oakland Christian you will be just as satisfied as we are.
OCS has been such a blessing to our family. Three years ago our daughter began Preschool at OCS, at that time we had only intended to stay for two years. Within a few short months we knew that OCS is where we wanted our children to be for good. OCS is special in what it offers, Christian teaching, high academic standards, amazing teachers, and a welcoming community like no other. We are thankful God led us to OCS and look forward to many more years there!
Oakland Christian has been our home for over 40 years and we now have our children graduating from the school. The school is family, the teachers love and pray for your kids and the education is top notch. You won’t be disappointed choosing this school!
We have LOVED our experience at OCS! The culture of the school, availability of financial aid, and the Spanish Immersion program made the decision to enroll in OCS an easy one! You MUST come for a visit!
I’m in the enrollment process now for my 4 year old and I am thrilled we have found OCS ! The facility is amazing and the staff that we have met with has been wonderful . We are looking forward to a great year !
