Oakland Cemetery

It's so peaceful here.

The entire process of families and casket arriving, lowering casket, positioning the casket to center, the cement lid, and just placing the dirt back on top was very smooth today. Although staffs only talked among themselves and with the funeral owner, they were very respectful and patient with the cultural difference and process. Thank you! The cemetery itself is also very clean.

Nice old large cemetery. This is the oldest public cemetery in Minnesota, founded in 1853. There were churches with private cemeteries, but this was the first public cemetery. Since then, over 50,000 dead people have been buried there, and hopefully very few live people.

Josie and June in the office were so wonderful in helping us locate our ancestors who are buried there. We are grateful for their kindness!

Beautiful cemetery and love the nature there. A lot of historic figures of Minnesota's past are laid to rest here.

My favorite place to go when i need quiet time also very beautiful to look at.
