Oak Shores Campground

My family and I stayed at this campground last month and the accommodations were great. We rented the cabin and found it to be simple yet all of our needs were met. Its a great place for the family they had plenty of playgrounds and events for the family. The campground was quiet and cozy. The reason I only gave 3 stars was because of the condition of the lake. We purposely chose this location so that we could fish and the kids could play on the beach. The beach was very small and not well kept. Algae everywhere made it impossible to fish or enjoy the shore line at all. We chose to drive to Lake Michigan and still enjoyed ourselves. Included is the view from our cabin.

Nice facilities, surprisingly clean and large lake on the grounds as well as a swimming pool and hot tub if lakes aren't your thing. Prices in the campground shop for necessities are fairly outrageously high, but that's to be expected and not unusual.

Very nice campground. Only one bathroom at the front of the camp though.
