Second time visiting. Ordered the Gnocchi and while the gnocchi were slightly mushy, the meat sauce was good. The main problem is that they put what appears to be garlic salt and dried parsley straight from jugs over everything. This absolutely ruins the taste. Only two beers on tap. Owner spends all of the time sitting around and talking to his friends. One asked about all of the restaurants that he owned, and he said this was the only one now. Only can guess why.
The food was pretty awful. The meatballs had a chewy outside and weird mushy inside. The tomato sauce was very bland and had a weird after taste. The chicken parm did not have any seasoning, ended up not even finishing it. Left with a sick feeling in my stomach.
I never leave reviews but this place was so awesome I have to. Ate here last Friday, 3/3. Had the salmon aioli and garlic bread with some NA prosecco. Food was excellent, waitress was awesome, and great atmosphere. My favorite Pullman restaurant now. Will be going again soon.
Gabby, Megan and Emma were the sweetest! Great convo and amazing service! For my first time eating here I would most definitely come back!
this waaas terrible. look how dry my pasta is. they got my order wrong. i ordered this specifically with alfredo sauce and got mariana. noodles were hard. but i did doordash this so it could be that is the problem ‍ maybe i will try again with dine in.
Tonight was our first time eating here. It is by far the BEST Italian food I have ever had. The beer was ice cold, the marinara sauce was amazing, everything about this place is fantastic. Our server was top notch. I highly recommend that everyone try this place . Thank you for an amazing meal.
We’ve been living in Pullman going on 4 yrs and this is the first time at the Oak and not only was the service excellent, the food was even better. Must try the Moz sticks and the meatball sliders! The portions were large and excellent. We had the mac n cheese, fettuccini both kinds and lasagna. Only critique was the salad that came with the entrees. U can tell they were pre-made and kept in the fridge…too cold and could have used a little “tossing”. Best to make them to order. Ceasars salad should NEVER be pre-made. Otherwise, the place is very warm, inviting and most important: chow was excellent! No going to Moscow anymore for great Italian food!
I sooo love this restaurant!!! The delightful food is absolutely delicious!! The Chef & staff work's so hard to make sure you enjoy your meal. They go the extra mile, to to make sure you're happy!!! Thanks so much, Oak on Main!!!!
1st time eating here, I shall return frequently. Great food and reasonable price. They are open for carryout and delivery during covid. Check out those meatballs, I think they use half a cow. Lol
When you operate an "Italian" restaurant a customer would think you would know what "al denté" means. The lasagna I had in the Oak was atrocious, the noodles were mush; cream cheese has a thicker consistency than what I ate. Service was next to none existent, some of food items had names that would make sense use of names of two different kinds of noodles with an Alfredo sauce - which noodle were you serving? to a person who only knew enough about Italian food to understand the language was Italian, poorly used but at least recognizable as Italian and not Spanish. Needless to say 'not a place' for me to ever return.
