Great during the day for a warm place for a beer food is very average. Had the porterhouse was very sickly with the mash potato and sauce isn't very nice. Parmy is great though would recommend for dinner but definitely for a casual lunch. Bar staff are amazing very friendly
Service is always amazing, food is pretty good. Specials are really good prices. Never had a bad experience will continue to go here as my favorite bar in St. Albert. Keep up the great work! :
A good traditional pub. Darts, pool, and good beer. Nothing special, it's not a "new twist on..." but rather it's a pub that does it right. It's a pub, pure and simple. I enjoy going to watch the game, shoot pool, and hang out with friends. I don't think you'll ever find Quinoa or Kale salads on the menu, which suits me just fine!
It's a very sad time for me cause I'm not going back! I've been a customer of O'Mailles for about 20years. I've had awesome food & drinks during that time even up until my last visit. I love this place except for the music they now play. The MyJam music is directed to a much younger crowd, yet I don't see a lot of them in there. In the past this place has always been older people. The atmosphere was very relaxing with quiet background music Mainly 60's, 70's & 80's rock music. I spoke to the manager about it & by a few comments made it appears he hates rock music. I've tried to put requests on MyJam but most of my requests are blocked. After an evening of spending most of my time trying to change the music I realized I wasn't enjoying myself. Certainly not relaxing. If any of you feel the same way, try the Connor's pub. It's the next best thing. Not as nice of setting but everything there is great.
Went there and tried their steak special. Steak was perfect and their French fries are delicious and crispy golden brown. Service was very friendly and fast. Great place to go and will be back.
up until a few weeks ago I would recommend this little pub to anyone that I came across. But being a regular of this establishment I would tell people to stay away. The food is good, wings are great. But the recent change in management hiring someone AJ that previously got fired to come back and manage the place has sent this place down hill and fast. The recent loss of great servers that not only treated you with excellent service, but they made you feel welcome from the time you arrived until you left. But management has forced them to quit. who wants to go to into a pub, where management treats their staff the way in which I have witnessed AJ do he shows no respect to his servers, nor does he care to assist them when needed. I have personally over heard him say that isn't my job when they have asked him to pour a drink for them when the bartender has been busy. EXTREMELY poor management. I applaud the three girls that have walked off the job, for the treatment they received of this manager. AJ ..its a Joke to watch, and for the sake of this establishment I hope he doesn't last long.
Service was the only reason this got 2 stars instead of 1 and our server wasn't even that attentive, took her 10 minutes to come back after stating "I'll be right back to get your order", I ordered a steak sandwich, didn't realise sandwiches in this world only came with 1 bread slice instead of 2, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, the steak was so well done it was burnt and had no flavour, not to mention was buried in mushrooms that I thought was only going to be a topping, almost couldn't even see the steak! My boyfriend got the nacho's and it made him sick the next day. this was my first and last visit to this pub for food, highly disappointing and would not recommend to anyone, go else where if you just wanted food like we did.
You will probably see me here. It is a great place for that Friday/Saturday beer. They are closed on Sundays however. They have live music from time to time. I have been coming to this establishment for years. What more can I say? It's a great Irish pub! Try the food!
I went there for a private event. The server was really attentive to us and going back and forth to make sure we didn't need anything. The drinks are generous and the food is good.
Great pub to catch the game and a pint and some decent food. Butter chicken wings are amazing. Also has pool, darts, and golden tee in the back. Thursdays is paint night.
