The home storefront for one of the Capital Region's most talented bakers, Nyx is filled with character and creative, delicious cookies, bagels, muffins, and all kinds of other baked goods. Shannon, the owner, has been a regular feature at farmers markets for years now, and her new shop has all the staples found at her booth, plus plenty of unexpected, awesome surprises. Can say from experience that her custom cakes and other specialty orders will not disappoint, either!
Delicious baked goods - I had a chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate caramel macaron, both were amazing! The arcade machine is a nice touch and will definitely have me visiting again soon
We needed a cute bakery in Center Square area SO badly, whoever opened this spot and the staff that run it need a medal. Everyone here is very sweet and the pastries look beautiful and taste as good as they appear. The coffee is on-point and the prices are fair. It's also VERY clean. I have been pining for a Sunday bakery stop in my neighborhood for as long as I've lived here. This place is a godsend.
Shannon is amazing. Everything I've eaten from there has been a 10/10. However, the bagels are an 11! The best bagels north of NYC!
Went in on a Sunday morning. Got a sesame bagel, cinnamon roll, cupcake, macaroons. All were absolutely amazing. The show stopper was that cinnamon roll, probably one of the best I ever had. Will definitely be back!!! 10/10 recommend.
Great coffee and bagels. Fantastic crust and crumb. Cool location in a basement along Lark with very friendly owner. Will be back for more!
Great little bakery! I ordered some Macarons for Valentines Day ahead of time and Shannon wrapped them up beautifully. will be back to try their bagels
Got two Peanut Butter and Jelly Macaroons, 1 Raspberry, 1 Carmel Coconut Macaroon, and a Banana Muffin with Pecans. Everything I've tried is a 10/10 would come again. Cashier was very nice.
Peanut butter and jelly macaron are a dream..but if you want decadent. Buckeye brownie or lemon bar...and if you are looking for bialys. Theirs are outstanding.
