We went to Nuvo for a birthday celebration and for a deal online that was around $50 and included the magic show, dinner, popcorn and a welcome shot. When we arrived we weren’t sure what to expect because the plaza is a little misleading! Once we opened the doors we were absolutely WOWed and saw this amazing decorated themed venue. The light of word signs were adorable around the restaurant and the stage was right in the middle with booths all around. The show was spectacular and the food was amazing too. Once the entertainment ended the venue opened as a club and the manager let us stay and enjoy our drinks while the club crowd came in. I don’t believe they have the deal anymore but I would still go back!

I suggest you tape the intro. The magicians entrance......wow!! We're still left wondering how he appeared from no where. The magic show is amazing. What an amazing talented magician. He has 2 helpers and I have to say I enjoyed them. They are great dancers and before the show they were dancing and teasimg the the crowd a bit. The show is interactive and require volunteers throughout the show. They also do a bit where you can win drinking tickets. That was fun! I went last night. The place was not busy. I think it's a new place and there's no doubt it will get busy with time. My friends enjoyed the steak and shrimp taco. I had the fish and it was ok. We also ordered 2 cokes that came in glass jar, 1 rum and coke and 1 Cherry blossom lemonade. The lemonade came with dry ice and it was delicious, beautiful and entertaining watching the smoke. The ticket also included a lemon flavoured shot. I Loved it! Actually we had 2 in total each. We got a small sample size portion of popcorn. My 2 friends liked it, I thought it needed more direction like is it sweet or savoury? Dessert was also included, a slice of cheesecake l. It was ok for me, and my 2 friends liked it. I do bake cheesecake at home so I am a bit picky about cheesecake. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know and will also be returning to watch it again. Staff was great! Checking on you throughout the show.

I attended their magic show after viewing about them on ToDoToronto. The magic show and ambience of the place was fine but the food and drinks at this place are highly disappointing. The food was stinking and stale. Also, the drink didn't feel had any alcohol in it. More like someone gave me ice and water in a bucket to drink from.

We were a bit skeptical at first because we couldn't find many reviews about the Edllusion show and Nuvo restaurant. However, we were gratifyingly surprised at the quality of the food best tacos we ever had, and we've had many! and beautiful, attentive staff. The show exceeded our expectations! Ed executed his illusions flawlessly, and his dancers were so graceful and mesmerizing. One of the best nights in a long time!

This place had a cool vibe when you first walk in, but the service we experienced was so poor, especially considering the place was pretty empty during the illusionist show. The prices listed on their online menu were all wrong and we were overcharged for every drink. The server didn't even fix it for us and gave a lot of attitude. The serving sizes were also so small. Another thing that's off-putting is some of the replies on these low-rating reviews by the owner. It's definitely not a good look. The show was enjoyable at least

Expensive cover cash required into okay small-ish club. The bar took forever to get drinks at, full of high tipping older gentleman, not sure if it's a great place for young people. Plus the bar drinks were very overpriced. Everywhere I looked there were fights and people taken out of the club, even as I left, so it felt a little sketchy. Owner response said this isn't common though and I can believe that, we did intentionally come to the Russian Christmas event as my girlfriend is Russian. Coat check is good. Bathrooms were clean, dance floor was nice. Vip looks decent if you did it. Guess security would keep ya safe if ya got unlucky; they looked strong. Entrance is quick if ya have cash, bouncers were friendly, and were fast if you called for defense from the outside. Based on owner response I will add lighting is good and experience/crowd would definitely make the overall experience pretty decent had I came at a more normal time. Would consider coming again if in the area.

The only reason I'm even rating this 2 stars is because my group and I can make every event poppin' and the magic show was fun! I was actually very disappointed with our experience here. We all purchased the meat platter together with the magic show ticket. The food portions were extremely small. Two platters would not even be enough to satisfy one of us. The drink prices were extremely overpriced, no drinks were less than $20. We scanned the menu prices when ordering drinks and the prices were not accurate, we ended up paying $2 more for every drink ordered. When I told the server, she was not friendly about it and said "I guess the menu prices aren't updated." Our server was very unpleasant to deal with and rude. I had read a review from 2020 saying the same things so I suggest Nuvo updates their menu prices accurately before overcharging people, it's not a good look.

Wow what an incredible dinner and show. So happy I went. Great service and incredible entertainment. Such a great night out. Even saw MM Entertainment bellydancer hyping up the night. Such a hit!

Not good experiences! Being here a few times and I do not recommend, we came back to give it another try but it’s a no no!!! Very busy Latin music place!!! First time we visit we waited in the line for around 1 hr, DJ stopped the music every time to promote shots. Second time we decided to purchase a bottle for a quick entrance! At the door security was asking people for $20 for the right to enter : plus the entrance fee of course, sooo sad. They were allowing DJ’s friends to enter before people in the line, so you better be VIP. At least we were assigned closed to the bar upstairs and service was good from the bartender. Third and “last time” we called in advance to avoid all complications, we said we couldn’t be before 11:30pm and we were buying two bottles to get a booth, they took deposit and we still have to wait in line for 40 min since nobody found our reservation even with prove of payment, we ended up not getting a booth and we were located at the bar. Music is fine they play the latest latin songs, except, for the DJ on the microphone every two seconds. Prices are average for a night club. Speaking only for the nightclub experience. Feedback… be more organized.. do not over booked… communicate with customers in regards entering times. Reply to business. My complaint is not only the wait… My complaint is the lack of organization. If I can’t because of work get before your prime time you should have let me know when placing my reservation so I can decide if go or not… do not just try selling!!! And don’t minimize/ ignore the corruption from the security guards…..

I was thinking about going. Replied to an ad and emailed them with no answer. Decided to read the reviews and the responses from Nuvo are only argumentative. Glad I saw this and I will have my birthday somewhere else. Too bad... the show seems great... just the other problems are not being worked on at all.
