Number One Sound

I received exceptional service from the owner George who took the time to explain all the parts that need to be required for my install. Once installed he showed me how to operate all the features. The install was clean and great. I recommend this shop especially for anyone looking for a place downtown. They have all the latest models from Alpine etc.

Brought my 2007 Cobalt LT over to George at Number One Sound and I cannot complain about anything after having this thing worked on by these professionals! They were quick and affordable and I would highly suggest bringing in your own vehicles by his shop to have some work done. You can never go wrong with a nice set of speakers and a new radio! I initially approached George with a double din apple/android carplay system but we both decided on a newer more improved one. They installed a hidden overhead microphone for easy access to handsfree phone calls and siri. I had also previously had an issue with my front speakers but the staff helped me link the phone calls and other features to the back speakers for the time being. George really knows his stuff and he gave me a great deal on the new system along with the labor. He even went as far as covering a 50 dollar charge to help me out as a student and I greatly appreciate that, I will definitely be back to get some more work done in the near future! Awesome service, awesome install, awesome sound quality. Number 1 sound lives up to it's name. I came in to replace a blown door speaker on my 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit. I also had a pair of Pioneer 5 way coaxial 6×9's I wanted to install for the longest time. George was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He recommended that I replace the door speakers with 3 way Focal 165AS3 components. And we also discussed putting in a Rockford Fosgate amp to power the 6x9's as well as the Focals. I am so glad that I did! Car sounds super crisp and clean! A huge improvement over the stock speakers. George also recommended to replace my stock deck with an aftermarket double din deck Kenwood which not only looks awesome, but makes a world of difference in the overall sound. Great service and quality from George and Joey at Number 1 Sound. I wanted to swap out my relatively ancient OEM radio in my 2014 TT, and George was incredibly helpful every step of the way, walking me through all my options based on what I wanted to be able to do with the system. Clean install, with the USB for my android carplay tucked into the ash tray, and the radio unit looks like it came stock from the factory.

I have been going to George since 1987 and No1 sound never disappoints. Professional and experts in this field. They have done all my vehicles over the years and my Harley bagger. Great custom work, also have sold me just the parts and guided me to do my own install. 5 star Place!!

Did speaker swap and door sound deadening on 2021 Porsche 911 Bose system. Perfect install and tremendous improvements in sound detail. That annoying factory bass rattle is now gone too. Truley good people at this shop.

Had an amazing experience with Number 1 Sound recently! I dealt with the owner George in late April regarding new speakers for an older Honda. George offered a variety of suggestions to maximize the quality but keep within my budget. I agreed to an installation date and have since picked up the finished product. George knows his stuff!! The quality of sound in my car is amazing. Well deserved 5 stars!

You won't find a better car stereo shop in the GTA! George knows what he's doing! I got 2 12" RF punch P3s with a 1500 watt amp and Focal components in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I couldn't be happier with the set up - super clean install, perfect sound and enough bass to shake the neighborhood. Very easy to deal with, reasonably priced, great communication and overall nice guys. They are magicians in this business! Thanks to George, David and Joey for an amazing job!

Took my M2 to George at Number One Sound and it was a great experience from start to finish. The Focal speakers and Match Up 7 amplifier they installed were a huge upgrade over the stock system and really transformed the sound in this car. George is a stand-up guy and he took his time to walk me through my options and gave me recommendations that fit within my budget. Even after the install, he offered to bring me back after a few weeks in case I wanted any further adjustments just to make sure the amp was tuned to my liking.
