What a great authentic Portuguese place! The interior has been renovated and it looks great. Great for an espresso or a steak dinner! I had octopus and sausage, and it tasted just like when we were in Lisbon.
We stopped for lunch in our way from Detroit to Toronto. I would say it is a very simple and honest restaurant and I was not sure if the meal would be good. I was positively surprised by the quality of the food as well as the cordiality of the staff that was very supportive and provided us attention.
We have ordered food for baptisms, Easter and birthday parties and have never been disappointed yet. The owner's wife makes the food and she is so nice to deal with and very understanding. Excited for the next celebration to order from them again
Great food friendly staff very authentic
Absolutely terrible. Half the shop threw their food straight to the trash. Cold fries, kraft singles on a steak, cold food despite being 5 min away shrimp was comparable to catfish Bait. Would rather not eat at all compared to this.
Ordered lunch for my crew at work over $200 and very disappointed most ordered steak sandwich and came with what looks like a kraft single on it, def not good. also all the fries were cold and very dry one ordered shrimp very cold when opened and fries hard as a rock . Sorry for the review but when spending alot of money on food you expect better food for sure .we probably will not buy food again

Great Place the food is great just like home cooked meals and a very chilled and welcoming atmosphere the people are friendly definitely good times,and the company they keep there will have you enjoying the conversations you experience with the people there. All Around GOOD Times and will enjoy the time spent well worth it. thumbs up to the owner and staff cheers!
I had my son's first birthday at this restaurant and was very disappointed with the service and food. I called a month in advance to make the reservation for August 28th at 1PM. I called a week 4 days before the party to give them the food order of what my guests would have. They stated everything was confirmed and ready to go. We got to the restaurant at 12:45PM the tables were not put together and we waited over an hour for the food. There was no air conditioner in the place and if there was it was very low this was a VERY humid and hot day. We had to ask for drinks 20 minutes into arriving as no one came to get a drink order. When we received the food it was brought out wrong 3 times to some guests, we were missing our second side. I contacted the owner that evening in regards to this and he apologized and stated he would be looking into this for me and contact me back next day. Next day came and I had to contact him back in the evening once again. He stated he was going to look at the cameras and see what happened. He stated he wanted to give me a gift certificate which I told him that Saturday evening I did not want to go back to his restaurant. He said he would look at the cameras and call me back Sunday. Not surprised he has not called me back since then. We paid $402.00 and was VERY disappointed how this turned out! The previous owner would NEVER have let this happen. Unless you want to be disappointed with service and food, I would not recommend going to this restaurant for family functions or to eat out.
