Nouveau Palais

Common folk need not pay a kings ransom for this regal cuisine. A grandiose, succulent, exquisitely cooked beef patty provides consistently superior mouthfuls bite after bite. Majestic as the sauce is; it does not rule outright. Instead sharing power with an equally noble array of seasoning and sumptuous toppings. An establishement deserving of its place among burger royalty.

Best classic burger in Montréal, and great fries! Ambiance is awesomely unique. Edit to add: ordered dessert to go and it was taking a little long. Staff apologized for the wait and asked if I wanted something for free while I waited. Wouldn’t have added this, except I saw some negative reviews about service!

If you’re only going to eat, it has extremely mediocre food especially for the price. The fried chicken is honestly worse than even IGA fried chicken. Burger is as meh as it gets. Ambiance is nice and the music is cool, but the food is so bland. No sense in going here given how many amazing restaurants are in the area.

I really like their burger! Beef is well-cooked and juicy, and bread is perfectly toasted. The salad is well seasoned too cuz I don’t eat fries so I changed it to salad. The only pity is that Mac n cheese didn’t reach my expectation or maybe I set it too high. Well...it tasted pretty good, but I think it could be warmer. The dining environment is pretty dark and they don’t have much lights, but it’s not a big deal. The staff is very kind and friendly. Overall, it’s a good choice to have a yum and comfortable meal with friends. They also have many alcohol options, from cidre, bottled beer to strong liquids.

Nouveau Palais’ comfort food is nothing close to comforting. This place has everything you may be looking for as in: cool vibe, hip decor, and late hours; yet in a weird unsettling way the food and drinks are simply under par. The Burger might save itself, but not at that price tag. In addition, drinks are serves in miniature glasses, worthy of an elementary school cafeteria.

One of my favourite spots. Go in for brunch and get the wonderful pancakes. Go for dinner and get one of the best burgers in the city. Go for drinks and get great cocktails. If you're nice enough, the bartender will make you whatever drink you want, even a corpse reviver no. 2! The last time I went, we asked for a 4-pattie burger, and they delivered! See photo Service is always great, and their playlists are bomb. A must!

Good food, great staff, nice ambiance! There's not that much choice as far as the food menu is concerned, but we loved what we got! Would definitely go back

I could've had a better experience there. Food was good, but the service wasn't very good. I think the guy wasn't in the mood for working today, I don't know. Music kinda sucked too. It's clearly a 3 stars for me. My gf convinced me to give 4.

Funky and unusual place to go. The decor is both cool and odd at the same place, but its where your cool hip uncle would hang out. Got the margarita and it was good and strong, just how I like them. Would definitely come back. A lil hidden gem in MTL.
