I had to take a moment to admire how nice this place was on the inside. Lots of great decor give it a very cozy feel. We had the butter chicken lunch combo which was simply amazing, I don’t really have any other way to put it. The food had a very authentic feel to it and didn’t feel over-spiced. The food is a lot more than it looks - come hungry.
This place is amazing with bunch of delicious vegan options and so quite as well, Moreover staff is friendly... Visiting at least twice a week and so satisfied with their food and service
I ordered delivery from this place for my lunch at work. I ordered coconut rice, butter chicken, garlic naan, and veggie samosas. When my lunch was delivered an hour later, the bag only contained the coconut rice and 2 samosas. I immediately called the restaurant to inform them that my entire main dish was missing how does that even happen? and they blamed it on my delivery driver, saying he must’ve forgotten to grab the entirety of my food. He said that there was another delivery driver on the way with my butter chicken and naan. That was a lie, there was no other driver on the way. I then got in touch with the delivery and he said that he was only given the one bag of food which he delivered to me, and that the restaurant is responsible for ensuring that the food is packaged properly with all the items contained in the order. So I guess they just forgot to pack the most important part of my order and tried to blame it on the poor delivery driver. It was extremely disappointing. Not only did I waste $45, but I got no lunch out of it except for two samosas. The samosas were decent. The coconut rice was not edible as it was far too sweet and it’s more like a dessert, plus it was completely dry since I had no butter chicken to go with it so sad.
The food was delicious and the portions were large, and the server was very polite. Seemed very busy with takeout orders but we were very taken care of. Probably my new favorite restaurant for Indian food. The coconut naan is out of this world.Food: 5/5
The serving staff was so kind. I was unsure of what to get and they were very patient and kind in helping me. The food was scrumptious and came out to us so fast. Absolutely amazing service kindest people evrrrrr. Gave us free home made chai teas after talking for a bit they were just so kind. Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: The people were so kind Dietary restrictions: So many gluten free options and were very careful about allergies
Before coming here, the friend I went with mentioned that the service wasn't great when she had went before but the reviews were good and I wanted to check it out. We showed up around 12:20 on a Sunday and there were zero other customers inside at that point. It was difficult to get the staffs attention as they were in the kitchen and didn't seem to care. They eventually told us to seat ourselves, and brought us menus after a few minutes. I ordered a latte and so did my friend. When the server brought our drinks she told us the cook would be taking his lunch break now and so the food would take longer, around 30 minutes. They could have mentioned this before we ordered anything but now that I have a drink I felt tempted to just walk out but decided to order and wait. I was pretty floored by this experience as the cook could have taken his break when there was no one inside but then I've never heard of stopping service for a lunch break. Needless to say I'd never set foot in this place again.
I have never had an issues here before, been eating here for years like 5 or 6 ... always great service, food.. but tonight is the exception, I ordered a small order just before 7. I was told 20-25 mins for pick up. So I went after 25, then I paid and tipped. And was told 7-10 more minutes, I realize it was busy during this time, and noticed all the skip and door dash orders being filled and mine still not out , 15 mins later then was told sorry 10 more minutes. I finally get my food, and veggie pakora was cold as soon as I opened the box. ? I waited just shy of 1 hour at this point to get cold food? I get home and open my Nann bread and it's gross like no flavor at all and usually it's delicious with flavor. Lucky I still had the soup that is my favorite dish there. I just wanted to say please, if you have alot of orders then you can prioritize the call ahead small orders and not just cater to the skip door dash. Very disappointing considering I paid $25. And have been a loyal customer for over 5 years.
This is my go to spot for tasty Indian food when I'm downtown. Try their impressive Dosa. I like their Masala Dosa. Also you must try their authentic Chai. I would have liked mine a bit thicker, just let the server know how you prefer your Chai. The owner is fantastic to chat with.
We went for dinner here and everything was great! All the food was fresh and their in-house made chai latte was one of the best I’ve had. Thank you!
Dined in for the 1st time here and I have to say it takes them sooo long to bring your order to your table. It seems they are only intrested in Skip order rather than the real people sitting in their restaurant. Truly sad and bad 1st impression. Dont come here hungry would be my advice.
