Great place to unwind in a natural setting while on a long road trip from Ontario to Newfoundland. Close to Wood Islands Ferry Terminal makes ideal place for a stopover. Nice beach. Watch Northumberland Ferry sailing between Wood Islands, PE to Caribou, NS. Camping charges reasonable. Small property. Clean washrooms. Stayed at Cabin 50 which has water tap, washrooms, playground and beach all nearby. All cabins are wheelchair accessible with ramp. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Glad we stayed
Lovely quite campground with a nice water view. Love coming down here for some nice beach walks and to watch the seals, and the piece and quiet always helps
This campinground was simply amazing from how it is build in the middle of the woods. We really enjoyed our stay there. The sunset was incredible and the beach seems perfect if it would be more warm. Facilities have been clean and stuff very friendly!
Sorry to have to give this park a bad review. No campfires allowed. Would have been good to know when making the reservation. The staff was a little too sarcastic at check-in. Again too personal when asking for driving directions.....constantly making snide remarks about my height. The blackflies were monstrous. Couldn't be outside for more than 30 seconds. The wind never stopped blowing. Therefore visiting the beach was a challenge. Most unenjoyable. Washrooms were very clean and nice. So there is that. Never again!
Great facilities, super friendly and kind staff, beach is nice but can be cleanerlots of seaweed and a little trash
Nice little spot. I didn't camp here, so I don't know how that aspect is, but the park is clean and well maintained.
Picture this, you're sitting on the beach on a warm day with a cold drink in your hand. The ferry is sailing by and blowing its horn while youre gazing out into the sea. Hard to beat the accommodations, view and staff. Great campground
worked perfect as a place to sleep overnight while working in the area. cabins are basic and clean.
We had cabin 48 it was small but had electricity The bathrooms were very clean. I would highly recommend going there!
Beautiful beach, the rest seemed run down compared to other provincial parks on PEI
