Still waiting... EDIT: just received by mail the gig bag forgotten. They stayed true to their word. Might try Long&McQuade  again for an ESP Guitar we are looking to get.

Nice ppl that work  there but no one seems to know anything about pianos..I talked to 2 different men and they contradicted each other,,I was only asking about one piano..I almost bought one but after listening to these 2 men,,,I changed my mind.

If you want to get lied to and deal with people that do not know their own products, shop here. I bought a set of tex-mex pickups, put them in my guitar, came to the store a week later for another item, saw the same set in the cabinet but they looked nothing like the set I installed. I told an employee, he said to bring my guitar in and they would change the pickups for me. So I brought my guitar in and they denied saying this and said I didn't know what I was talking about. I figured out that someone switched the pickups for a very cheap $20-some dollar set. But no one will ever know where this set came from because none of the pickup sets are sealed. Look at the pictures and you tell me that these are the same pickups. This is the last time I am shopping here.  UPDATE: After some back and forth, thankfully Lindsay called to sort out the problem. Everything was fixed properly. I was glad to have someone to listen and be courteous.

I stopped by the store to drop off a guitar to have an adjustment made. I  was there 15 minutes before opening time, so I sat in my car, expecting to wait. The gentleman working saw I was waiting and beckoned me inside. He wasted no time, and made the adjustment while I briefly browsed. The same gent also found me exactly what I was hoping to find , and installed the item. I left the store completely satisfied, guitar in hand. This is the fourth time I've received this level of service here.

Well , first I've never stepped foot in here , yet ..  however, since this is someone else's story , I'm just doing the right thing... that someone else should have done.  A person I know, brought their guitar in,  and the price was reasonable,  there was a issue that I'm not at liberty to discuss.. however , Long & Mcquade , and long story short .. They went above and beyond to answer the Customer's call and make things better for this person..

Just went in to browse. Two of three employees I saw were engrossed in there own chit chat. The third offered assistantance but didn't smother me. When did ask a question he was knowledgeable and friendly. That young man is why I'll go back.

I buy most of my gear here and great prices and great staff......they remember your name and always go out of there way to make sure your happy and satisfied.....best guitar shop in the Sault

I asked for additional details and photos on a guitar listed on gear hunter. They were very helpful in providing information. Always get great service from L&M locations and this one is no different.

I had an amazing experience here getting my first guitar, right as I walked in I felt comfortable and welcome. I've been to other music stores in the past but this one takes the cake for being the nicest and smoothest experience. I definitely recommend going here for your music needs.

So glad to have this store available to us in our city. Every visit is a personal experience and your musical needs are treated to as a doctor would treat a patient. Always professional, knowledgeable, caring and kind. From the day that I first stepped foot into the world of music, and through the doors of this store, I was on a path of discovery and the services of Northland Music helped me along the path to get where I was going every step of the way. They never tried to make a big sale off of me when I was on a budget, and they made sure I was getting the best I could for the budget I was on at the same time. Very friendly atmosphere, and will return time and time again.
