New owner Paul is very friendly and honest. Doing tons of renovations. Affordable rates and great centralized location. This place had a bad wrap with the previous owners not really doing anything. Now with the new owner and all his hard work, this is bound to be one of the best places to stay in the Sault.

Stayed there a couple months ago. It did the trick and we could see that they are working on Renos. Location was perfect for our trip, good restaurants nearby. Was trying to get in contact with Bel-Air because I need a receipt/HST # to claim a Staycation Credit for 2022. Phone number on Google just rings. Is there new contact info: phone, email ? Thanks

Really dirty, lost my clothes, money and bank card also. I saw other comments , it seemed that I was not the only person who was stolen and robbed packages by the owner. IMPORTANT: I know these persons who give five star in the comments are the owner Paul’s persons, not the true comment reflect reality. They are totally Telling Lies!!!

In room 103 there was one shouted your name every night and never stopped that I cannot sleep. 8 also a boy living in room 203 in January you and your management stole his clothes and packages. He called the police and fight with you every night in January , really loud and noisy you donot admit ? Conclusion: The money you bought this bel air motel in Sault saint marie you should think of where the money comes from. From stealing the passengers’ money clothes and bank cards and iPhones ? Not only one comment but a lot of people abused of this in the comments. You should admit.and I will not go to any other country just stay in Canada to watch the reviews of bel air motel in Sault saint marie forever : By the way , you scolded other passengers that if they donot like the smell and bedbugs they can pay 300dollars to other hotels. I can screenshot other motels cheaper than you , how their rooms and washrooms clean and neatly and organized and measures for security.

What??????i donot understand what you relied. I only gave one star as This is the worst motel I have ever lived. Really dirty and bedbugs in bed that my whole body itchy for weeks. Booked online. Rates are cheap but you do get what you pay for. The front desk was very polite and the room was decent. Would definitly stay again.Rooms: 5/5

The front desk person Paul is very friendly and accommodating. They are renovating the rooms and the place is looking great. A friend of mine is residing there and says it's quiet and homey.

My husband and I were looking for a last minute room. Most places were so expensive and after looking at reviews, we were a bit hesitant but decided to take a chance staying at the Bel-Air Motel. I’m glad we took a chance as we were pleasantly surprised - check in was quick, the front clerk which I think was the owner checked in on us via phone to make sure everything was okay within the first 15 minutes. The room is a bit older but was very clean. We felt safe as there is quite the camera system outside and it was very quiet overnight.

Incredible!!! We were traveling back to Kitchener from Marie Louise Provincial Park outside Thunder Bay and we needed a room for the night to relax, we WERE in White River when I needed to stop, but there were no rooms there, no rooms in Wawa and anywhere in-between. So I called all the way to Sault Ste. Marie and found one at the Bel-Air, in fact it was their last room with double Queens and they held it without deposit for us. It took us a little over 3 hours but they held it until we arrived around 10pm. The gentleman at the desk was super amazing as well, he knew we were on the road and after getting us booked in he took the time to tell us what and where food was available at that time so we wouldn't be searching. Huge KUDOS here. The room was not anything special, BUT it was 2 very comfortable beds to sleep in, and as far as expectations go, it was a MOTEL room, not the 4 seasons. I will absolutely 100% go out of my way to stay here above anywhere else the next time In the Sault. Great service!!!!!

Absolutely no way the positive reviews are real. This place is gross. Stains all over everything - carpets, linens. Carpet looks like what you'd see in a crack house. Burn marks in bedding. People raving about the service? FAKE - the individual exchange the minimum amount of words to take my info, he is not UNFRIENDLY, but it is in no way exceptional. Is it worth the money? NO!
